Can you drop your echo-flow into the lake, grab it because its floating on the surface and keep using it? Can you carry your echo-flow and starlink with one hand? Can you leave your Echo-flow outside in the snow and rain? Most importantly: Did you see the part in the video where I not only was speaking directly to YOU, but I also did an impression of you?
This looks like a great idea. I don't think it makes GMRS useless in general though, depending how spread out your group is a radio might be quicker and easier to keep everyone in contact. But layers of comms is always good
Been a customer of Starlink for a few years. Been watching other reviews. This is an extremely capable device and a really good idea. Extremely ruggedized tech. This guy will have a license to print money for a few years until someone builds a knockoff.
Starlink has been great. Full time traveling medical worker. Starlink Roam has been great. From middle of the Ozarks one day to Lake Superior the next..keeps me safe and have employment is all due to Mr. Musk..thank you sir
I wish we had all of this technology when I was bounty hunting, hell we didn’t have cell phones (they existed just couldn’t afford one) we just had our guns, handcuffs and belly chains. We didn’t go off-roading we were too busy hunting felons on the run. I know not very manly, but hey it was fun and traveled a lot.
If the Starlink works through the plastic, I'm wondering if it'll work through fiberglass? EDIT: From what I've found they make mounts for inside of the Bronco hardtop. So yes it will!
Looks nice. My question is about the unit getting too hot while running fully enclosed. Hoe does it maintain waterproof status and not get too warm? Or is this not a concern?
When I leave the house, I don't take the internet with me, I don't even have a cell phone, I sure in heck don't need StarStink on the go. I'll pass on that big waste of money, good video otherwise.
Generally, I do the same.. But when i go off-roading, where the chances of getting stuck/stranded or someone getting injured are much higher than when in the big city, its nice to be able to call someone for help or look up a map if needed.
For 1k you can build your own battery back up for a fraction less! Or but an eco flow.and a solar panel and still far cheaper....What a rip off

@@TheNotaRubiconRandy, you need to work on your grip strength.
For the love of Xenu, did you even watch the video?

Randy has been assured by Mrs Randy on many occasions that size does not matter. This was his opportunity to prove that.
you mean Mr,. Randy... Randy likes em big
If "some people" tell you to get lost, now you can say,
"I can't"
I am so getting both! Thanks, Randy, and Merry Christmas, buddy!
I actually did build one of these myself. It sits in my garage because it’s too damn heavy and bulky to carry around. This looks awesome 👍🏼
I am seriously considering getting one of these starlink mobile devises
It's quite cool that there is a mobile one now.
They're really building out the network making this all possible.
Mine lives in my rig 24/7, one of the best things I’ve ever bought.
Am I able to talk to anonymous men on it?😂love your work mate
It works with the Grindr app!
case is a Harbor Freight APACHE 3800
Wow good eye
I like this. Might have to DIY it and make the files/plans opensource...
Open source? It’s just plugs, dude.
Always great content my brother. Thanks for sharing as I hope to convert to Starlink next year.

Is there a charge controller built into the box for the solar panel?
Yes, and an external, waterproof port made for plugging the panel in to the unit.
Im a storm chaser & I want one!
Handy for commandos and cartel members calling in a pickup.

Genius.
What is considered high speed internet?
I consider anything over 10mbs fast.. But, I get about 120down/20up with my Starlink Mini, if that's what you're asking.

You seem like a prime candidate for its intended use: the Grindr app.
Hmm made in Id. Kinda got my attention now.
When you gonna do a jeep review??
Missed it if it was mentioned, but guessing the scenery in this vijeo is Joshua Tree....

The unit has built-in fans but they do recommend that you leave the lid cracked open for more airflow if using on hot days in direct sunlight.
Nice

Don’t think you’re going to carry this around by hand or on your back, it’s heavy to say the least.

Bro we get it, you’re such a manly man that you don’t need no rescue from the internets. (Until you do)
He’s not implying you should take this to the grocery store…..I guess the use case for this went way over your head.
You could just build one yourself..
You look thin man. You doing alright?
