I ordered both the dress and blouse bales about a month ago. I know there are people who would just roll their eyes on the brands included in the bales, but from a business standpoint it makes sense to buy these. Unless you can source at the goodwill outlets on a regular basis and they are close to where you live, you cannot find cheaper COG items. I started selling in 2000 on ebay and made a killing while holding on to a full time job. I made enough money for a downpayment on a house and buy a new car in cash. It was grueiling work with me up all night with three young boys to take care of. I gave that up after five years of selling at maximum speed. The listing technology that exists now was not available. I am now retired an started to sell again just to make money for fun stuff, like a two story shed that I want for myself. What I learned is that sellers today want to make a quick profit, are extremely pickly regarding they want to sell and do not have the patience to wait for the right buyer. With the bales that I bought, I looked at all the comps and sold items and priced reasonably. I am averaging $10 profit on a dress and $8 on a blouse. From one bale, I have about 150 dresses that I can sell. I steam them all and take about 10 photos of each. I have measurements on the dresses and a good description. I price them at $20 and I usually sell a dress for $15 to $17. After fees and COG are subtracted, I have an average net of $10 profit. Yes, it is work, but I stand to net over $1000 from the dress bale. I do not mind if a dress does not sell fast. I will not sell for $5 and pocket $1 profit. That is not my business model. I do not understand why people would list an item for $3 when Posmark' minimum fees are $3. I do list every day except weekends but list 20-30 items each day. I have a fixed routine where I work from 6am to 1pm. That includes everything associated with reselling. I only check to answer additional questions later in the day just to let them know I will get them an answer the next day. I like your videos because you are honest and state your opinions. I agree that the bales may be extra work since most of the clothes need steaming, but it beats thrifting this many items. For those of you who have kids, you can hire them to steam or do anything to help you out. Keep accurate records and that could be a tax deduction. You can then use the money you paid them to open an IRA for your child. This is totally legal since I worked in finance for over 30 years. I did that with my sons and now they each have hefty IRAs. It is a win win for both you and your child. Sorry for this long post, but I hope it can be of help to those who are considering buying this. I see now they have a witing list for the blouse and dress bales. They must be popular.
Good morning and thank you for watching! I have no problem only making a few dollars per item, in fact that’s how most of my sales go! I am disappointed with the “quality checking” of my micro-bale. I donated 3 large garbage bags of items that were mostly stained, worn or had holes. I’ve NEVER donated that many items from a mystery box before. Also, I have finally started steaming and photographing the blouses and I am finding MORE stains and MORE holes. Everyone’s business model is different and that’s totally ok! I just can’t stand behind the blouse micro-bale…maybe other bales have better items but my bale wasn’t great. 😓😓
If anyone is interested in buying any of the bales, I used the code "murray" and got 15% off. I forgot where I got the code from but I tried it this morning to see if it still works and it is still good. It may work with the boxes too.
I honestly don’t know if florals really ever went out of style! I know that really small floral or “ditzy” prints is a term that people do search for though!
We call those "Ukay" in Philippines. Its really disgusting those clothes.. the smell and dust from the bale Esp. Those CHINESE brands. I used to have reselling business too but I stopped selling UKAY

Awesome! Thanks for the code from Alicia. ☺️
I agree, I don’t think I would purchase this one either!
Your dress micro bale was much better!!
Belk is a department store like Dillards not like Costco 😊just fyi
Ah! Thank you! We don’t have Belk, Dillards or Costco near me. Always learning with reselling. ☺️☺️

Awe thank you!! I really appreciate you being here. ☺️
These weren’t bad items but definitely a lot of work!! We have Belk here. They sell a lot of brands like Free People, Lilly Pulitzer, etc.
They do?!? That is surprising! I only know Belk through reselling from getting items with Belk tags on them.
@@TailoredAndTeal yep! They are a department store that is actually pretty expensive but most of the brands don’t resell as well😂
@@retrobydestiny1030 Oops! Shouldn’t have compared them a Costco or BJ’s 😅
@@TailoredAndTeal haha it is way too hard to keep up with all the different places!!
I’m loving the little tube tops brings back memories 😂❤

😬 Yikes!!! I don’t think that we have a specific word for the “thrift store smell” in America but it is very distinct 🤢
