Will definitely wait till they re-engineer the LH+ protector to not requiring tape. Always going to be a case of reflex saving to tip around or over goal, not controlled on tip.
Getting bruised / injured is not part of goalkeeping when protection is available, it is a player choice.
injuries and bruises are very much a part of goalkeeping. There are aways litte tiny spots where a ball can hit you on bare skin even if you hev all the protection possible. If it was the case that every inch of your body was covered you would still get bruises through the equipment because of the speed of the ball.
