The complexity of politics and the priorities in their minds influence their voting decisions. However the 3 main reasons are: Bidens dissapointing presidency (e.g. inflation and unaffordable living), Kamala Harris not showing leadership or answering questions correctly and near assassinations on Trump sanctified him. I did not vote for either of them.
It’s likely though that there will be intense scrutiny by the court, as to who becomes a juror, because in a case like this, you need absolutely impartial jurors, not 99.9% impartial, you need absolute. It’s been decades since I studied about tariffs and embargo’s in public school. From what I can vaguely remember, the tariff is paid by the consumer in the end. The money comes from increased prices for the goods. The prices are paid by the consumer of those goods. Have things changed? If the tariffs are not paid by an increase in prices, how are they paid in the end?
I work in supply chain, importing food, in an American company. We pay the US government, specifically Customs and Border Patrol, for tariffs. Then we pass the cost to our customers, generally grocery stores and other food companies. We have no choice. It's an increase in costs. We don't make enough profit to just absorb huge cost increases like that. The food we import is not produced in USA, or not enough is available here, to avoid using those countries' products. I dont get it. Why do Americans are so angry at a CEO, yet they elected a guy who has no interest in giving them universal health care? !
Disgusting lack of critical thinking and common sense
probably because those are 2 different groups of people
From the people I know who voted for Trump, transphobia and misogyny (same thing imo, can't say women are inherently inferior if ppl can change genders). All while complaining about insufficient gov benefits and labyrinthine healthcare. But they believed everything MAGA said because they align in prejudice. Also religion, sermons have become super political (from what has been rabidly -froth included- recited to me). I don't know any women who support Trump who aren't deeply religious, whereas I know atheist men who support him.
Not like Dems have any interest in giving us universal healthcare either
The complexity of politics and the priorities in their minds influence their voting decisions. However the 3 main reasons are: Bidens dissapointing presidency (e.g. inflation and unaffordable living), Kamala Harris not showing leadership or answering questions correctly and near assassinations on Trump sanctified him. I did not vote for either of them.
That Jury has the chance to do the funniest thing
Jury nullification, what a wonderful phrase
Jury nullification
It’s likely though that there will be intense scrutiny by the court, as to who becomes a juror, because in a case like this, you need absolutely impartial jurors, not 99.9% impartial, you need absolute. Because it would be obvious that the jury chose to ignore all the evidence laid out in front of them, and go where the evidence isn’t pointing. Would that be grounds for an appeal? Maybe, I’m not sure

Nope, things haven't changed except we are living in bizarro world.
You're correct, tariffs are a tax paid by the importing company, which is most often added to the consumer price to maintain profit margins.
Get ready for higher costs on food and other necessities. Thanks MAGA.

Convicted felon can leave the county? Only if you're Trump discussing 🤮
