We really thought that Gilas pool would continue to play as a unit in international games when they first announced the "23 for 2023" just like what our women's national football team has been doing since Coach Alen was assigned to the team. It's evident in the results of recent competitions that longer training as a group works better and can produce better results. #AbanteBabae #LakasFilipinas

Iba rin talaga ung skills at plays ng mga Filipinos abroad no? Iba ung quality. Napaka-limited ng experience ng players natin dito sa Pilipinas. Magsisimula siguro sa high school tas karamihan private schools pa hanggang college level. Ang maraming clinic sa atin ay basketball. Sana maging katulad tayo ng Ibang bansa na kayang mag-excel sa iba't ibang sports gaya ng basketball, volleyball and football. Di rin kse yata masipag mag-promote ng sports ang local public schools natin.😅
Kaya malaking bagay kung matutuloy yung plano nila na professional league dito sa Pinas para magkaroon ng opportunity to play at exposure to more games ang football players natin especially yung mga nasa grassroots area. 🙂
Looking at these highlights, sarap panoorin. We know we can dominate Asia and keep toe to toe with the rest but we need to continue to build the programs and insulate them from external politics. And in the more specific points, Sara Eggesvik needs to be the main midfielder as she has the most excellent ball control and accurate passing. Also they need to work on short passes to execute more accurately. Keep up the good work ladies! Mabuhay!!👏🏻🇵🇭
Ayos yan! They need more international games para sa preparation nila for the World Cup next year... at ang pagkakaalam ko they are targeting to get more FIFA points (o Gilas ba yun?) para mapunta sila sa higher pot before the draw in October. 🙂
Parang October Fifa window kasi dadaan sila jan playing maybe against Nigeria( i'm not sure ) the othe one is against Switzerland before going to Costa Rica for another friendly... then by Nov. d2 sa pinas against Jamaica and Uzbekistan...
