It might work on mine, but similar way! With the error battery ON the drone(controller OFF), I downgraded firmware, but it didn’t work. Then I downgraded all the way to factory reset firmware, then it still didn’t work. Lastly, I upgrade back to the new firmware, it worked !!! No more batterie error. Thanks man for the video! 👍🏻
Just updated my Mavic Pro firmware, and that issue happened to my battery. After 65%, it stopped updating, and the battery's led won't stop blinking, even after I pulled it out from the Mavic. Luckily I watched your video and... it works... Thank you very much...

Once I worked out your instructions and put 2 n2 together. Bada bing bada boom ..all sorted and problem fixed ..only had it 2 days so I was screwing wen my bat did that 2 dot bollox ..was screwing ..thanks for the help big man.💪🏽👊🏽

One thing you didn't specified on your video (maybe because it did not happened to you) but when I was upgrading the Mavic on my PC, I only turned ON the drone (not the controller) and I was getting error messages "UPGRADE FAILED" -- when I turned the controller ON too, then everything went smooth, just like you show. thank you for your help!

Hi Ty, it not work all the time, but I did not have the error you had in the DJI assistant. On the two batteries one was OK by downgrading then upgrading again. I'll try to discharge the failed one then recharge it and test again. Anyway many thanks for your tips. Appreciate to learn how to upgrade from computer instead app from you. Cheers bro
i had the same now with a brend new mavic 2 , never had a flight yet...damn...but the question is...how to do this if the battery is 30% barely and the software says you can update only if the battery is 50% minimum... ? thanks for who will reply !

When the battery is attached to the main body and long press the button of the battery, the power supply of the battery drops off. When you release the hand from the button, the main body restarts and the version upgrade of the battery is completed when the version upgrade is repeated several times.
Hi Ty, the battery problem I have which I have had twice in eleven months, the first time DJI replaced the battery this time they won’t they want me to buy a New one! To which I’m not happy about! The problem I’ve had is Cell error Warning on the remote, it says don’t fly and contact DJI. This hasn’t happened after any updates of firmware it just happens and I can’t even get the motors to run so I would be grounded! What’s your thought on this please ? Dave in the UK thanks
Please help! Bought the Mavic 3 classic and I have 2 out of 3 defective batteries. One has two green lights. I am on my PC and it gives me the notification that the firmware does not match, but each time the update stops at 7%. The battery is charged up but it won't allow me to get past 7%... Also, the original battery will not turn on or charge. I have tried turning it on in the back of the drone, plugging a charger into it while the battery is in the drone... $2500 later and I was happier with a $300 drone.

Hi, it depends how your trying to charge it, I heard if you tried it on the normal charger without the hub it would do the job, as the battery with the fault won't work charing it on the hub. I didn't have the chance to try this out as I had sorted the problem out pretty quickly. hope this helps

I was updating DJI Spark, with my phone connected to the controller via WiFi and the controller connected to Spark. At 98% of the update the aircraft would not turn on, and the battery was stuck with the two middle LEDs on. After about 30 min like this, I swapped batteries and the updated finished without further issues. Problem is I was left with a battery that would not respond (two middle LEDs stuck).

wont turn off after trying to update and failed ? then you have to charge it from the single changer without using the hub which ive been told wont work......or try updating it via the PC like this video showed before the battery dies.if you still having issue then you have no other option but to ship it out to DJI.

The only thing I would add is if it says your battery is too low you can still charge it with the error. I was able to get it fixed with the method he mentions above

So I plugged it into the wall for a couple hours and then repeated your process. And it worked! I do also have the 4way hub to charge the battery, but I disconnected it because I felt like that's what caused the issue originally.
Guess what bro, I couldn’t do it the day I watched the video and my battery got swollen , if you can mention it in a different video or add something to this one , tell everybody they must fix the problem as soon as possible when this happens , now my battery is ruined

How did you update it via phone or pc?

From my experience you should always download it via pc to stop any issues.. Try it via that method and let me know

sorry to hear that, if its not charging via the hub or single charger then only option you have is to send over to DJI.
