Poppy is one of today's most interesting artists and talented to no end. Her song "Bloodmoney" is a Grammy nominated in best Metal performance and so with that in mind she is very much for real and oh so clever. Poppy rocks!!! Give her entire music catalogue a good listen and you will find just how varied she is and how excellent she is ,as an artist. Interesting reaction by the way.

You are not too far off with the depression stuff. Basically this song is about burying her past self and moving into a new era. As you mentioned there is a lot of cool and weird lore in the Poppy story and she likes to change things up a lot (like a LOT).
Great reaction, really enjoyed it, would love to see you do some more reactions to Poppy's music, she is never dull.

Yeah, that's poppy ... you never know what to expect with her songs... she started doing more "pop" music, but lately she had a turn for metal... I think you would enjoy a couple of my favourites (crazy) songs from her like "Scary Mask" or "X" ...
