Hey isabox, you could have been getting renewable string from your tamed cats every time you went to sleep in a bed. All you needed to do is have the cats following you before going to sleep and then each cat has a 70% chance of giving you something. String is one of the items (drop chance of 10% I think). I use this method to get rabbits foot more reliable than killing actual rabbits.
Today's tea was called Hello bees! The tea itself had a bit of bees wax, bee pollen and honey! I put extra milk in it today but the flavor still came through strong. A delicious black tea thay I got when I bought dice from an etsy shop lol. The automa comes through nicely, floral with a bit of milk mixed in. Warms me to during these cold morning. As for hobbies I love to sew, I make my own clothes and quilts when I have time. Im a very creative person so I have too many hobbies, I build computers write stories and draw. Just not very well lol. Today as I watched you I was just drawing on my ipad enjoying the company.
I'm an artist and designer, so if I'm not feeling too lazy, I may be designing something while watching YT on the side. A chill video like this is pretty nice to have on the side, drowns out the silence, but isn't loud or too distracting.

7:40 the mod is called Supplimentaries, it has a flax plant that you can harvest and grow to make an infinite string farm. The wild crop is a grassy looking plant with little blue tips. Supplimentaries adds more than just flax, it adds a handful of little things like decorations.
About the "use flax to make string", in earlier versions of Biomes O' Pleny there used to be flax that you could craft into string. Also, I love how the kitchen garden turned out, in the timelapse, it looked like a strawberry from a bird's eye view. Lastly, I completely relate to being extremely nervous about how tech class would be and the process being different than expected. Once I got to know my classmates better, it was less awkward and I look forward to culinary each week even though it tires me out.
When I watch your videos I usually tend to really just watch and enjoy the charme of your series. Sometimes I have a meal on the side or a cup of tea. My hobbies are usually ones that require a bit more focus like reading or RPG-Games but when I am playing minecraft I love to have a voice chat on the side so I don't get bored when farming materials for builds. Recently started a world with my birthday as the seed and it's been fun exploring that and maybe it's a world I stick with for a while. With semester exams coming up on monday I was really dreading some chill and cozy and was about to rewatch older episodes, but now I can watch a new episode while doing my studying break and knitting! Speaking of, that sort of thing is what I usually do while watching visually interesting content: fiber arts. Spinning, knitting, crocheting, sewing, mending,... you name it, i've probably done it. I want to thank you for doing the CoT series, your editing, even the not synchronized part at the end, makes that home-y-feeling of a blanket over my shoulders and a hot chocolate in my hand - in fact, I might stand up and brew myself a cup of tea after this comment- which I really seem to need more often these winter days. Thanks for brightening the days! And a suggestion for future farming: Most mods that add a bunch of seeds and stuff have the left-click-harvest instead of break-and-harvest activated, so you can save time and energy re-sowing. left-clicking will automatically plant a new seed and drops just the crops produce and other excess material that comes with it, larger plants like corn and tomatos are sometimes not even destroyed, but just back at their unripe-stage, 70% percent or something. Though I am not sure if it is implemented here, I wanted to point out that it does exist in some mods.
I love this series, and would love to see a lore series from you! I love stories, and one of the draws I have to watching MC content is seeing what stories people come up with! Usually if I have free time and am not playing MC, I'm cleaning or cooking since I don't have much free time in a day 😅But the other hobby I try to make time for each day is working on puzzles! Jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, sudoku, just anything to disengage my brain from whatever I was stressing about all day and use it for fun thinking! Hope you have a great week!

My hobbies are very sparse, work and school sort of take over my entire life, but I do really love writing. It's just so fun to make my little puppets dance and take on lives of their own. I also sometimes do art, I'm not very good, and that's more than fine. It's a process and I don't have the time to dedicate to being an artist, but at the same time, it satisfies me. Every now and again someone will toss me a math problem like a bone and I'll gnaw on it too. Tutoring is also something I would consider a hobby, but I rarely get the chance. Fun stuff

good afternoon! i live in louisiana and we just experienced a real snow storm. it's the first time in my life that i've seen true snow (that wasn't just sleet) so i spent a good while outside with family. i really love the snow and it's a bittersweet feeling because i don't know if we will ever get snow here again (i'll definitely travel to see more). i made myself a cup of spiced apple tea and am sitting by the window while watching this video, so i can also look out at the snow hehehe. looking outside, i feel bad for my plants that are covered in snow (even though i tried to protect them with blankets the snow defeated them). hopefully they will stay strong. also, i will definitely check out your other series and plan to watch whatever else you come up with.

Biomes O Plenty adds Flax. You should find it in forrests. I like the little talk you had with the Isometric overview too. Magnificent gazebo! Wish I had a PC so I could run Minecraft with mods on it. Also what ya said about just getting through it an it not being as scary as ya thought it out to be speaks volumes! Also I have a sinus infection due to the cold weather in my area, but other than that I’m doin good. Also about the different games I like playing, I like Minecraft, Red dead Online/2, Fallout 4, and Terraria cause they fun.
One of my Hobbies includes drawing! As of currently I'm doing a challenge were I make a whole page of fanart for YT animators / artists I enjoy aswell. (Also you're one of the only ones that I can watch/listen to for about 20-30 mins at a time since I have the attention span of a goldfish lol.)

Have you considered adding Supplementaries, Simple Farming or The Veggie Way to get mob drops in an alternative way? On another not, Fletcher villagers sell bows and Fisherman villagers sell fishing rods. You can fish for string as well, I think.

While watching your videos I mostly chill. Sometimes I eat or cook something but most times I just enyoy listening to you and the pretty buildings and funny ideas you have.

Magnificent gazebo! Wish I had a PC so I could run Minecraft with mods on it. Also what ya said about just getting through it an it not being as scary as ya thought it out to be speaks volumes! Also I have a sinus infection due to the cold weather in my area, but other than that I’m doin good. Also about the different games I like playing, I like Minecraft, Red dead Online/2, Fallout 4, and Terraria cause they fun.
It seems that we got the same hobbys outside of MineCraft ^^ I like drawing, writing and watching other play too!
One of my Hobbies includes drawing! As of currently I'm doing a challenge were I make a whole page of fanart for YT animators / artists
I enjoy aswell.
(Also you're one of the only ones that I can watch/listen to for about 20-30 mins at a time since I have the attention span of a goldfish lol.)

Besides watching your incredible series I've been reading more comics lately, usually the superhero variety but I've found some indie graphic novels and I can't Wait to dive into them! Other than that movies and drawing from time to time!

i found this series like a week ago and i've been watching it over dinner with my roommate/close friend!! we do a lot of cooking from scratch together and really enjoy it as part of like a wind-down moment for the evening.
you mentioned you are a creative writer in one episode - me too! (this makes me excited to start a new watching habit with your lore series as well ^u^) but i write a lot of poetry :3
and i don't know if you're a beer fan or not, but if you are, may i suggest for one of your chickens the name: Chai Alai. (fun fact: the beer has the same name as a sport, which is probably where they got the idea haha)

Have you considered adding Supplementaries, Simple Farming or The Veggie Way to get mob drops in an alternative way? On another not, Fletcher villagers sell bows and Fisherman villagers sell fishing rods. You can fish for string as well, I think.
What's the song that plays at 12:01? I heard it and realised it's in 5/4 time, which I was surprised by because a) you don't get much music in 5/4 time in general and b) of the 5/4 songs I have heard, none were peaceful/relaxing. Very fun to count along to whilst watching the video

I really enjoyed Rhyme, but, I'm also of the mindset you could just, record the whole thing in your spare time and release it when it's ready to give yourself some break time if you need it.
Flax is from the Supplementaries mod by MehVahdJukaar. I highly recommend checking it out. Its one of my favorite vanilla plus mods.
