    I can see I am never going to clean again. I am going to play at my new Bernina 790 ❤ for the rest of my life.😅😅 I should be in bed, but this video is just way too much fun to watch. I can’t wait to wake up and play at my Bernina in the morning.

    I just got a brand new B790+SE and I'm GEEEEEEEKING OUT over the thing... All of your videos have been super useful and informative while trying to tackle the massive learning curve that is Bernina. (going from a plain jane machine to what I like to call the "Ferrari Unicorn") I especially love the doggie squeaky toy sounds in this particular video by the way. So.... thank you thank you thank you for all the practical tutorials.

    I must’ve stopped this video 10 times until I figured just watch it and try it a second time stopping the video where I wanted to do it on my machine. I wonder if there’s an iPad that you can say stop and it will stop the video. I really want to do this however I gotta learn how to write a little better on this sideways screen. Maybe you could make another video and give us some tips on that. Thank you again and again and again. You have my vote for the best Bernina educator!

    Thanks again for an informative video. I wish I could come to your store. It looks fantastic.... Australia is a bit of a long haul however! I would like to design a mock chain stitch. I've seen some fonts done in a chain stitch on the internet . I'd like to make a "hand done look" with motifs filled with chain stitch. Have you got any suggestions? Thanks.

    • @BERNINAofNaperville
      @BERNINAofNaperville  ปีที่แล้ว

      In the BERNINA embroidery software, you can adjust the backstitch outline stitch for a chain. On a machine, you could fiddle with stitch #38 on the B 880 plus. Make it really narrow.

    This was so interesting! I really bought the wrong machine. These features are not on the new 770QE Plus that I just bought in October 2021. I love these videos, always looking for another one I haven't seen. Wish I had discovered them before I bought the new machine. Thank you for making them.

  • @moniquegroom2353
    @moniquegroom2353 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have a 570QE. Obviously, I don't have the stitch designer. However, am I able to import a preset stitch pattern from the sewing section to the embroidery section like you did?

    I love the stitch designer and your video is really informative and I learned even more. Thank you. I do have a question. I worked hard on a stitch design I used on a project for work. It was saved in the folder however I had to take my machine in for service and when I got it back, my design was gone. Is there a way to save the stitch so that if the machine needs servicing again I don't loose my design?

    • @BERNINAofNaperville
      @BERNINAofNaperville  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The technicians are supposed to save the customer’s stitches and personal settings when they come in for service. So in this case you may be able to visit bernina.com to see how to save tour settings and stitches on a back up I USB.

    Can you change the millimeter measures to inches so. You don’t have to convert it?

    What type of stabilizer did you use on the fabric that you were stitching on?

    • @BERNINAofNaperville
      @BERNINAofNaperville  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      For most of the examples I was only using two layers of fabric. So it depends on what you are making. If you want to put this on a garment, use a shir tailor type interfacing. If it’s embellishment on a quilt, use Sf-101 or OESD fusible woven stabilizer or even a light weight tear-a-way stabilizer.

    • @BERNINAofNaperville

    Is it possible to begin writing and then rotate to finish the sentence?

    • @BERNINAofNaperville
      @BERNINAofNaperville  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would create phrases or separate words and then embroidery them rather than try to rotate

    • @BERNINAofNaperville
      @BERNINAofNaperville  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This can be done on the B 790 (not plus) - So go out there and design something!
