The worst thing is that there are some who are dazzled by their lust, to the point of believing that they are doing nothing wrong, we will say that each individual looks with the scope that his heart allows him to reach. But at that moment he must be careful not to want to forcefully lead others into error, that is what I blame my family for.
As a convert from Islam to Christianity and living in a Muslim majority country I feel this very heavily. The people of my country are so full of hate against anyone who is not Muslim. But the Lord is with me and I am protected by him I know that. ❤✝️
Let us remember this is a messianic Psalm. This describes how our Christ suffered for us and how we treat Him. Note how we relate to his sufferings and it seems like this Psalm was written about us, for He became man like us. He came close to us for us. Lord Have Mercy.
I am a foreigner in my own family, I’m moving out of my Baptist family’s home after Christmas and will be joining the Church. They will no doubt disavow me and say I’m wrong but will be right before God! Jesus Christ have mercy on me a sinner.
Neither one of my parents believe in God. They both have that weak "I'm not religious but I'm very spiritual" mentality. I don't want them to go to Hell.
Pray to St. Phanourious, and for his mother. She was not a Christian, so he prays fervently for her soul and will understand your plight. He is a great intercessor and guide for the lost
My Mom is super secular, If I went to buddha she would support me, if I went to Allah she would love me, But when I became Christian; she sent me a video George Carlin bashing on Christ in the hope that I would abandon the faith.
Well done for making the right choice, Jesus is truly so special that He specifically is hated by the masses and for what? loving His fellow human beings and healing them? forgiving those who wrong Him? The world hates Him and will continue to hate Him, but You have been called by Him and you have answered Him. Well done, this is the beginning of a true, unconditional loving relationship with the true God. Just be careful, people will tell you you need to achieve works for His love or to be saved, like going to church every Sunday and if you miss a Sunday you will go to Hell. If those people truly knew God and had a relationship with Him, they would understand that it is His righteous works that saved us, not our own. As a wise friend once told me: "Works are the fruit of salvation, not the root." God bless you man, and Christ be with you always as you build a loving relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen!
@@eagle1341my friend, you are partially correct. There is a process of sanctification, ans we grow in holiness. This practically means, that we have to do the will of God (works), and bear fruit, fruit that will last. Do not compromise your inheritance by not abiding in Christ, and by not doing his will. Deny yourself, and follow him. Love God with all your might, but.. be close to him, and seek him, proactively, so you won't fall away, because you can absolutely fall away from the faith, and lose your salvation.
Many feel the same as you. Even I have my moments. It’s always helpful to remember who benefits from these doubts. Simon Peter himself denied Christ three times before the dawn of Jesus’s crucifixion. He felt wretched after his denial, and sees it fit to preach the resurrection after Jesus reveals Himself to him and His disciples. Remember how Peter died for the truth? Doubt is not the opposite of belief. The opposite of belief is apathy. I will pray for you, Theotokos. Love the name, by the way. God bless!
The Devil will come for you, when this happens - call upon Jesus Christ of Nazareth and say: I banish you in the name of Lord Jesus Christ ! Ima start another Comment and this is a question for everyone. What are some of the hardest parts of the Christian life? For me is: Laziness, Past, trying not to sin (I fail every time), giving my full trust to God, Lukewarmness. There are more but I can’t quite remember all.
I am confused (2:54 to 3:40) the narrator asks of the lord to curse and show those who torment him God's wrath. However, I always pray for their salvation. Am I doing something wrong?
When this Psalm was written it was very common to view God as wrathful, but later when God became flesh through Jesus Christ he corrected this view by saying "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;" (Matthew 5:44)

For me. Carrying my Cross, following the narrow path, getting back up (repentance) when I fall down (sin)
