I’ve been wearing Invisalign for a year now! My orthodontist said it will take me 1.5 years but sometimes would need more sets depends on people. I have a feeling I’ll need more sets. I floss and brush my teeth 3 times a day (every time after I eat), sometimes more! It is a struggle cause you can’t just eat or drink whenever you want. You can only drink cold/ice water with them on. I think the most annoying part is I have a lisp when I have them on and hard to speak. Can’t wait for it to be over!!!!! 😭😭

I preferred my ceramic braces over Invisalign. I had Invisalign for 6-8 months and it didn’t work for me so we switched to ceramic braces. I finished my treatment within 10 months. I was 25 at the time - worth every cent! ❤️

If I could give any recommendations on Invisalign (I have them too) - change to your new liners right before bed, take 2 advil/paracetomol to take the edge off the pain and you'll feel less pain of course as you sleep. - Eat with the liners on. It helps to get your teeth and gums used to the new liners faster. Takes away the hassle of putting on/off. Just aggressively swish between meals.
I had braces the traditional metal kind and yeah I would love to know what invisalign feels like because it looks comfortable, cleaner and overall more pain free. try having metal in your mouth cutting your tongue and cheeks. so hard to eat and talk so don't even bother. parents should have done their research before diving in head first.

Once you're done with your invisalign..I would recommend you get a wire in place to keep your teeth in the new shifted position!! I only got a wire for my bottom teeth but not my top and I can tell its slowly shifting back!! So dont make that mistake.
the thing is, with the way we bite we are more likely to debond the upper wire and hence it is less advised to have one for the upper! Wear em retainers :)
Hey Weylie! It's probably the weight of the earrings that are making your ears sore. They don't weigh that much in your hand but it's different for your ears since you don't usually wear dangly earrings and your ears aren't used to being pulled down by their weight
Just curious, do the doggies know any Chinese words or phrases? Because we sometimes tell our dogs something in our language and they’ll understand. Like they know what it means when we say ,”do you want a bath (in Laotian) and only the pitbull gets excited but the poodle will run away. Lol

I remember having Invisalign and i always felt like my teeth were gonna fall out when I ate lol. I also stopped being as picky with like taking them out when I drank stuff cuz I’d forget to put them back in and they get changed out every 2 weeks so ehhhh.

Mel H I went through a dentist first. My orthodontist said for my case (class III underbite), Invisalign would have never worked.
