They all deserve credit for being able to balance on unicycles while trying to escape at the same time.

@@zoybeanisawesome8947 Yeah, but at the same time they just played it safe. So when it comes to unicycles, it's safe to say don't perform tricks unless necessary as we've witness some colors moving faster since they performed some speedrunning tactic/ backwards long jump to shoot ahead, mind you they lost since there was a 2nd one ahead forcing them to revere to fast into the one behind them. Assuming the 2nd one is not there next time, Mikan can very slightly increase his pace and allow the colors to sprint ahead allowing room for plenty of tricks and stunt to flex on.
TL;DR We need an Excite Bike Arena escape video for these speedrunning stunt flexing unicyclists.
Let's face it. At 2:50 Orange provided more entertainment than we could ever have expected in 2022. Absolutely love it. Keep it up!!!
I don’t know blue also managed to be the only one to survive touching the back roller let alone bounce off of it perfectly and keep going

Watching all of them do a bunch of flips was one of the funniest things I’ve seen. It’s funny seeing the AI try to correct itself and in the process it just looks like the rider is going for style points
I feel same as you.
It almost seemed like they had personalities. At times the actions just screamed "woah! Nearly got caught there" as they approached the front roller. And it looked like a mad scramble to get back on their wheels after falling over.
Of course, that meant I felt bad when they got crushed as it looked like they were reaching out in a "help me!" Type way. Stupid Mikan and making things too good...

I like how the racers can't interact with each other. That means that anything that happens to them is their own fault rather than another racer pushing them back.
By the look of this video, the racers doesn't want to push each other. So I agree
But what if they COULD?
They can interact with the blocks
they can throw movable objects backwards, and that does lead to unfortunate (but funny) fails
They could also take hits from the oranges
You can sense the genuine panic coming from the sticks that get sent flying to the back for one reason or another
I was genuinely surprised how much it scared me when they were pulling on the ground to try and escape lol

I find it interesting how the figures can now also get damaged by a front roller. I think it's a really nice touch to the race and, of course, to all the survival races so far. It removes the advantage of being far ahead of the other colors (the race aspect), and puts more emphasis on maneuvering through and avoiding obstacles that can lead to death (the survival aspect)

Also, in 4:12 peach got so scared of the steamroller that it went back and was hyping the fact that it survived by doing some more stylish flips only to find itself crushed by the steamroller on the back.

I'm impressed with the rider models! Not only do they have moving limbs, but their feet move in the right direction depending on whether they're going forwards or backwards, plus their hands grip the ground to help them regain their balance when they tip over
They also panic when they fall
The flippy floppy nature of the unicycle was good, but the bikes are still my favorite. The fact they have encounters with the "villain" and can survive but slowly get damaged over time makes it a bit better imo

Really impressive that this sort of thing can be done, but I can't help but feel some form of empathy for those poor helpless stickmen getting mercilessly crushed as they writhe around waiting for it to end.... It just hits different when they're not just abstract marbles anymore

I love how the "road rollers" have a sort of gladiator helmet thing going on around the rollers. Golden helms/covers around the rollers with red spikes. Very coliseum-like.

There's something very poetic about the first elimination coming from a cyclist who got too scared of the roller in the front and backpedaled themselves right into the other roller.
Yup. When I saw that there were ones in the front and back, I figured out that the survivors were those that could stay in control and avoid overcorrecting into the death machines. It was tense at the end, but looks like I was right!
I saw it more as a punishment for the hubris of pulling that mad stunt tbh :v
Having ridden a unicycle, I can confirm that going down steps may result in unintentional front flips!

When I first started watching these, I couldn't help but think the comments were silly... Cheering for a colour over all the others... And now that I can't stop watching them, somehow seeing the personifications of these colours in full force... Sharing in the Victories that Red gives me, And crying for their defeats... A truly emotional roller coaster.

Tbh what I love most about these videos is focusing on my chosen color(s) the whole race and then scrolling thru the comments and watching the clips other ppl point out abt their fav color doing something funny. I would have never noticed dark red doing 15 flips in a row or peach doing the coolest stunts and then immediately getting crushed if it wasn't for other people focusing on different colors and aspects and I love rewatching those clips
