I really love this show. I don't understand why people are hating the show so much. I might not be hard core LOTR fan but I watched the Peterson's trilogy and Hobbit trilogy too, in the movies they focused on the original canon of Tolkien while here its completely different script with characters names taken from the canon, you might call this a high budget fan fiction. I think there is nothing wrong in that, problem is people don't easily adapt to change/new things, but this is how new things are made. And as always Change is inevitable.

It's funny..you watch Vigo.. Hugo.. McKellen.. Kate.. they were so perfect in their parts.. even outside their roles.. they eminate thos beautiful characters...these guys just seem like Saturday morning kids tv hosts...to say the least
