    Peter Ganine designed this originally, FYI. A mid century sculptor of some renown who did many chess sets, and one famous tub duck design thats iconic. TOS did well to commission him for this purpose. Tho they never did develop rules per se. No need ; )

    Great looking chess set. I have the Franklin Mint Tridimensional Chess Set but thinking of adding this to my collection too!

    Do the make one that is actually from the show next gen there's was cleare and white and I believe the stand was cleare acrylic

    Is the the same height as the franklin mint in?

      It's considerably taller than the Franklin Mint version but the boards are so badly positioned as to make the game practically unplayable on it.

    The Franklin Mint version is a bit small to play on but it's still better than noble one.
    Even the rubbish rule book you get with the noble one shows a different layout to the actual board.
    It wouldn't have taken a lot of effort to make the board playable on.
