Plenty of room in SL, looks easy compared to my C55. I just did my alternator. Had to drain coolant and remove a bunch of hoses. Had to remove fan which required removing top radiator support and grill. Even then, alternator barely slips out.
the only thig that i needed to see was the exact struggle to pull the old one out. every other video is a slightly different configuration and mine is like yours
Hi please help my car wont crank and it wont go out of park the scanner picked this up... CAN communication (no communication with electronic gear selector) CAN communication ( no communication with body control module) CAN communication (no connections with esl) Any advice would be appreciated

Sl500 no heat blowing. Just cold. Only to face. No legs even if selected. After 10 day driving alerneyor not charging now… help?
AC stepper motor. Alternator is likely voltage regulator. Stepper motor is a SOB to change. Voltage regulator is easy.
