Zhou Shen is a counter-tenor. This is not his head voice or falseto. This is his normal range although I have heard him sing lower. Things I have read has said he might be a "sopranist", a counter-tenor who can sing into the soprano range, not just mezzo-soprano. Memory is good but if you really want to see how high he can sing, listen to him sing "Think of Me' from Phantom of the Opera. He now sings a lot of the opening themes for Chinese movies and series shows. He has the most beautiful counter-tenor voice I have ever heard. He also went to school for Bel Canto. He is highly trained. The woman on the panel is Na Ying, who is a very famous singer in her own right. This is China's version of the Voice. He can also sing in 9 languages. He is 5'3'' and presently 28. He is now very famous.

This song, the original singer was the first to turn around and judge, his sister sang it! So he was surprised when he heard it 😱
The judges didn't turn the chairs quick enough I guess, that's because the first person who turned the chair is the brother of the original singer of the song. They wanted to see his response.
