Good day Joshua,
This is the best uses of LP within Excel I have ever seen in 30 years.
Great work and thank you for sharing.
Thanks for taking the time to drop a note, Lira.
Much appreciated.
This is the most helpful tutorial I've ever seen. Thank you very much for making this!
My teacher taught us in the exact same way, even the yellow and green colour for the cell.
Now I know where he learnt from.
awesome video btw
Joshua you're the best. I am new to Linear Programming and you made me understand it so easily. Thank you so much. I feel am now ready for my Final Exams :)...
I love the "to the point" approach.
Dear Joshua Thank you so much for this video. I'm teaching Linear Programming for the first time and wanted to show how to create it graphically. This is so helpful and easy to follow. Many thanks.
My pleasure, Liz. Thanks for dropping a note.
This was really well explained...thanks Joshua!
SUPER helpful! I just did my whole project with the help of this video!!
You made this so simple and easy to follow. Thank you !
My pleasure, Ines.

Joshua you are amazing dude! So glad i found your channel.
So easy to understand. Thanks Joshua
I usually never comment on videos but this one was very well done. Good job.
Thanks. So helpful! But, also, it seems there is a way to find the x and y value without manually solve the equation like what we do here? Forgot which is the name of the function in Excel... Solver? Can we also use Solver then plot the graph? Thank you very much!
Thank you , It is nice how you mention every single detail
This is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much.
Thank you very much for this video. It's really helpful
this was explained brilliantly!
Thanks man. Wish I saw this when I was doing operations research back in school.
Thank you for making it. Learned a new thing.
Best tutor ever. Thanks Josh
awesome! this is what I needed to do a quick linear programming graph. thanks so much!
Really helpful ! Thanks for your clear and simple instructions
Hi Emma. It really helps. God bless you

Great work love it !!
Thanks for this , indeed very helpful
Great explanation. Thank you.
Thanks
Thanks for the donation, Eoin ..means a lot.
@3:32 why did you replace C1's series x and y values - wasn't it already 3,0 0,12?
You’re right, I could leave C1 (at 3:15) as is and be correct (coincidentally), but viewers need to know the correct way of doing it: the Xs selected together, and the Ys selected together. Otherwise, there could be confusion in cases like C3 that is not in the form (X, 0), (0, Y).
Thank you so much! YOU ARE MY HERO!
really helpful video!
This is very helpful. Thanks Joshua (y)
Thanks. Very helpful!
Thank you!!!!!!! this is awesome
Thank you so much Joshua!
Excellent one
THANKS A BUNCH
You're welcome, Amanda.
Super helpful, Thanks
How A point automatically show (1,8)???I don't understand it...
this vedio was very helpful for me
select AC3:AC3 and put formula press ctl+shift+enter
Excellent job done
Very helpful
Glad it helped
I am not able to get straight lines when we have to shade the feasible region. how to do it?
Can you do a video on how to use this for the lottery. Powerball, and Mega Millions?
if there is a constraint like y
Just draw a horizontal line at y=225. Points like (0, 225) and (300, 225) should work. You can always replace "300" by whatever number works for your graph.
Thank you, sir
You're welcome, Vilochana.
Great video. Can you share the excel file?
Here you go: bit.ly/3PuzAV1
Thank you, good work
If a constraint is like this: X>=1900. How to get a vertical line on the excel scatter chart (x=1900). Could you please help?
X values (1900, 1900) Y values (0, highest y value)
@@joshemman Thank you !
absolutely useful
Is there anyway that we can also include the non-negativity constraint (X,Y>=0) into the graphs, and find the point that meets x- or y-axis?
You will have to input some negative values for x and/or y to see beyond the first quadrant.
@@joshemman Thank you for your reply. But in fact, what I meant is if it is possible to find the coordinate point of a line that crosses x-axis or y-axis by using the combination functions of MMULT and MINVERSE as you did in the clip.
Also, could you tell me how I should do if I want to draw a line that is vertical or horizontal such as x=1 or y=1?
@@sangmoklee3476 1) Yes, you can. I just think it's easier without MMULT. To find the x-intercept, use 1,0,0 for the x-coefficient, y-coefficient, and RHS respectively. For y-intercept, use 0, 1, 0.
2) You can construct a vertical line, say x = 1, by using (1, 1, y1, y2) where 1, 1 are the two x-values, and y1, y2 are any choices of y values you want. In the same vein, you can draw y = 2 using (x1, x2, 2, 2) where x1 and x2 are any 2 x-values.
Thanks JC. God bless!
Made me love maths already
ctr+shit+inter does not work in my mac. What should I do instead?
Good communication.
yup definitely what was i looking for. but sadly found this gem after i took my test, sigh.
Thank you very very much...
