Looks like you can damage the front of them since they have squishies on their legs and top of their head. You could see them shoot the squishy bits and no deflection effect was shown
There's already too much fog as it is on the bug planets, last thing we need is even MORE fog. Imagine having these with nursing spewers and a spore spewer. You're not going to see anything while they can and will be spawning no stop
I love the bots because it's the closest we have to fighting something on par with Helldivers arsenal. Thankfully robots aren't dropping 380s on us lol

I feel like they'd be a great "stealth" unit for the bots the same way bugs get stalkers and the illuminate had outcasts in HD1.

I'd love them more if they would focus on the game breaking issues that's been occurring since launch day. We're all still getting kicked to solo play, crashing to desktop during in-game, audio cuts and more.
If they're hitting at missions where helldivers have to play missions where they're essentially 3rd partying battles between terminids and autamotons to achieve their own goals, that sounds like it'd be a ton of fun. Just imagine you're starting to have trouble with the autamotons, and then a charger just runs up and runs over the autamotons, giving you and your team a small chance to escape to pursue the mission. I feel like that'd be hella hype

You must realize that games like this will never be fully fixed right? It's the nature of the beast for a patch to break something unless you want it to take 3 months instead of 1 and a half between patches. Warframe has proven this to me many times, no matter how airtight your QA, there will always be at least 1 fatal bug.

I don't really understand the sentiment. I play robots 80% of the time, & on 9 every time I play. Any unit that can start a rogdoll combo can be defeated by a wall, spare one; the gunships. There are plenty of weapons & sentries that make short work of gunships, & cover still works against them, just not as well. Being prone reduces the bounce of getting ragdolled. I am SO EXCITED for this update. Only thing I'm sad about is that the factory striders didn't get any rockets or missles. Like brah, weld the top half of a dozen rocket devastators to the top of it! It's going to be glorious either way, though. You should be there. Let liberty be your shield, & fear not the ragdoll!
How about a primary that can get through heavy armor, like a single shot sniper rifle that's themed after a rail gun? This will improve build diversity by freeing up the support slot for something made to clear mobs.
@@Famousagentman They actually had something like this in helldivers one, but it had multiple shots, and while it didn't pierce heavy armor it did stun heavies for a couple seconds and could pierce through infinite enemies as long as they weren't the big ones. I think it was just called the "RX-1 Rail Gun"
With them moving super samples down to difficulty 6 and adding a difficulty 10, we will probably see a new sample type, they might add more collectables, one shot had someone holding a robot head like a football but that was probably a new mission objective

If they're hitting at missions where helldivers have to play missions where they're essentially 3rd partying battles between terminids and autamotons to achieve their own goals, that sounds like it'd be a ton of fun.
Just imagine you're starting to have trouble with the autamotons, and then a charger just runs up and runs over the autamotons, giving you and your team a small chance to escape to pursue the mission. I feel like that'd be hella hype
that would be awesome, now imagine the opposite and the automatons were able to capture/tame/use terminids and its a 2v1

You must realize that games like this will never be fully fixed right? It's the nature of the beast for a patch to break something unless you want it to take 3 months instead of 1 and a half between patches. Warframe has proven this to me many times, no matter how airtight your QA, there will always be at least 1 fatal bug.
@bradc4277 And they still haven't fixed some of the fundamental issues from launch. But they found time to nerf all of the weapons. I quit playing because after several months of updates it became less stable.

I don't really understand the sentiment. I play robots 80% of the time, & on 9 every time I play. Any unit that can start a rogdoll combo can be defeated by a wall, spare one; the gunships. There are plenty of weapons & sentries that make short work of gunships, & cover still works against them, just not as well. Being prone reduces the bounce of getting ragdolled. I am SO EXCITED for this update. Only thing I'm sad about is that the factory striders didn't get any rockets or missles. Like brah, weld the top half of a dozen rocket devastators to the top of it! It's going to be glorious either way, though. You should be there. Let liberty be your shield, & fear not the ragdoll!

@@Famousagentman They actually had something like this in helldivers one, but it had multiple shots, and while it didn't pierce heavy armor it did stun heavies for a couple seconds and could pierce through infinite enemies as long as they weren't the big ones. I think it was just called the "RX-1 Rail Gun"
