Yeah the game is for sure really thought for competitive play, but we'll play it our own way with narrative asymetrical scenarios, like for DW or Conquest 🙂
@@loveandwargames that’s cool and it’s great to see the game get representation- I like a good competative system but being able to fly casual in it so to speak is cool
Thank you! Indeed the art direction is crazily good, and the setting seems really interesting! You can expect at least a few more BatReps (or a lot more + some tacticas/unboxing if we get a partnership 😀)
Congratulations on your first Warmachine victory! Really great to see more of it on the channel. I came for Dystopian Wars, but definitely sticking around for Warmachine (or both, really.)
Thank you! To be fair it is not a true victory, I was accompanied step-by-step by our local veteran player 😀 Cannot wait to use Warmachine system/miniatures to resolve the boarding actions of our narrative campaign!
Khador vs Cygnar is the perennial classic. Even if in current lore, the Orgoth are the real baddies. Cryx is also coming up, if you want some steampowered zombie flesh on the table!
I have been playing Warmachine for years and I think the current edition and tournament packet are some of the best they have put out. Last year was a bit rocky with the edition change over but this year the game is really hitting it's stride. Also it great to see my original faction (Retribution) and my new Mk4 army (Storm Legion) both on the table. Also, I really like the paint job on your Storm Legion. Did you use an airbrush for the whole models or just the electric coils?
Thank you for the kind words! The game is indeed very fun as it is. For the painting question, it has indeed been airbrushed for the electric coils effect, the rest is classical hand-made 🙂
It is a standard tournament-approced template, but yeah there are tons of terrain. When we’ll play narrative games there’ll be less « random » elements of terrain to make it more coherent
It is in the tighter end since all the terrain pieces are pretty large here (which can be fun, but usually about half are a bit smaller) but MkIV encourages the use of terrain to create interesting games. The narrative scenarios in the app also have a lot of terrain, but typically more symmetric and thematic.
Very cool warmachine models and factions look very cool and rules are also seemingly pretty competitive in mkiv

I'd be down to see more of this! Looks great, love the vibe of the setting, so yeah more of this please! :)

Oooh that'd be fun. It's really cool you have the opportunity to do this too, so yeah keep at it man!
Great explanation of everything going on.
Thank you, I tried! Even though it was sometimes confusing for me too, discovering the game, I hope there were not many mistakes 🙂

Awesome! Great battle report, I hope to see more.
I love how important leaders are in Warmachine.
Indeed this is the key difference ! The whole army is just an extension of the leader. Very cool twist!
Great first report. I love the puzzle part of trying to engineer a plan.
Thank you! And yes it is very challenging and interesting !
I am very excited for warmachine and hope to see more in the future

Great!

Nice one :)
Warmachine 🔥🔥
You should also try a "Horde" army, with warlocks and fury, it's almost a new game ;)
Definitely will try to start a Khymaera army!

Well that is the first time I read this, but it is very pleasant hahah, thank you! And good painting 😀
Merci pour le rapport de bataille, je me demandais ce que donnait la v4!
very busy board. Is that normal?

Uhhh another new game. interesting
Indeed it is!
lire les commentaires avec l'annonce de la fermeture de la boite et les rumeurs houleuses de SFG ca me fait rire ^^
