Awesome video! looks so familiar! I picked up an AGT QK18RXS-C (cabbed with pilots, diverter, and hydraulic thumb) and it DOES include a fanned hydraulic cooler, but no filter. Looking forward to getting one added! The Cab on them ends up blocking the battery/pump swing door which made getting the battery out to charge a nightmare. The open station on this looks pretty great!
That's a nice machine. I emailed you about hoses for a cushion valve. I have not heard back. When will the hose kit be available again. I am in need of one. Glad you are back.
This looks a lot like the FF Industrial FF-15 machine that I have. There is a hydraulic oil filter under the floor on the right side of the machine of the FF-15. It is an odd sized filter and it is difficult access. I live in Florida and I have overheating issues with the FF-15. For now, I removed the back access door of the machine and this has help tremendously with the heat buildup. In the future I will be adding a hydraulic oil cooler and filter that is easier to replace than the one installed on my machine. I have had three issues with the machine that I had to address in the first 30 hours of operation. 1) the tail pipe kept falling off, I have taken it off since I have removed the back access panel. 2) the hydraulic hoses had multiple place where the were rubbing on sharp metal corners of metal and wearing. I moved some of the hoses and added wire ties. In some places I cut schedule 40 PVC pipe and placed it on the sharp metal edges to protect the hoses. 3) I destroyed the front-right track tensioner bearings. Luckily Napa had replacement bearing in stock and for $20 I was back up and running.

Last week I purchased a TPM-16 which shares much of the body components, but it did come with Pilot controls and a hydraulic cooler. The one thing I will need to resolve is the machine bogs down when moving the boom. Feels like the valves are feeding up and down at the same time. Have you experienced this on any other machines? Do you think it would be in the pilot control section or the main valve body? I'll be getting two high pressure gauges soon to troubleshoot. Also, on the video you did with the spool valves, you showed the cut outs on the spool shaft that is supposed to allow a small amount of fluid to go through and lessen the jerkyness. Have you done any more experiments about adding a second or third cut out (some shafts have multiples with varying lengths)? Just curious as it would be nice to have finer controllability.
I’m looking at the terraworks 1 ton.. would cost $6k but that includes swing boom and hydraulic thumb.. without those items, local cost would be $5k. Trying to decide if those two items are worth the extra $1k..

Looks the same as my QK16R. Mine came with the cooler. Wild they did not include it on this one. Looking forward to seeing you install the filter.

My Infront does the same thing with boom up. Drives me nuts. Tried everything. Stumped.
How do I get to the 12 volt battery to change it out for a new battery?

They’re not 2 stage pumps, but one pump runs the main hydraulics and the other pump just runs the pilot controls

The Miva VA16S has bigger tracks and dual pumps 3 way valves and a molded top just no hydraulic thumb standard. Its a better machine in my opinion.
