Vande Bharat Express | Journey New Delhi to Kanpur | TFA Suyash

Train 18 will be India’s fastest train. It has recorded a top speed of 180 km/hr during test runs. However, on commercial runs, it will hit a maximum speed of 160 km/hr, which is the maximum that India’s railway tracks can safely handle.
Vande Bharat Express: Schedule and timing:
On its first deployment, it will run as the Vande Bharat Express covering a distance of 752km from Delhi to Varanasi in 8 hours.
It will leave New Delhi Railway Station at 6am and arrive at its destination at 2pm.
On its way back, Vande Bharat Express will leave Varanasi at 3pm and reach Delhi by 11pm.
There will be only two stops along the way: Kanpur and Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad).

Vande Bharat Express: Ticket fares and seating classes:
The Vande Bharat Express will have two categories of coaches:
Executive Class and Chair Car. Fares will vary depending on which direction you are travelling in. The earlier fares for a New Delhi-Varanasi journey were priced between Rs1,850 (Chair Car) to Rs3,520 (Executive Class). However, the fares have now been reduced marginally.
New Delhi to Varanasi: Rs1,760 (Chair Car); Rs3,310 (Executive Class)
Varanasi-New Delhi: Rs 1,700 (Chair Car);Rs 3,260 (Executive Class)
Delhi-Kanpur :Rs 1,090 (Chair Car); Rs 2,105 (Executive Class)
Delhi-Prayagraj: Rs 1,395 (Chair Car); Rs 2,750 (Executive Class)
Kanpur-Prayagraj: Rs 595 (Chair Car); Rs 1,170 (Executive Class)
Kanpur-Varanasi: Rs 1,020 (Chair Car); Rs 1,815 (Executive Class)
