Can natural history of disease be applied on non communicable disease? Would someone explain?

Yes..it can be applied definitely
You just need to replace agent (which is for communicable ds) with risk factor (which is for non communicable ds) only.
When risk factor is present,diseases/illness will occur which can leave the host in either of these conditions i.e, recover/disability/death
