That's because the writers have no sense of subtlety or any sense whatsoever, i mean they made the lesbian character sleep with a guy, can't expect anything more from them, also Alicia is a walking stereotype with no personality, it's like the writers didn't even bother developing a character and instead just mashed stereotypical tropes and labels into one thing, masculine presenting check, pansexual check(could literally be any label, it's not like the writers put any effort into researching anything), non binary check, i'm surprised they didn't make her trans too so they can fill all the diversity quotas since that's what the writers actually care about instead of actually writing believable and good stories and characters, i haven't seen a show this awful since the MTV series Faking It, just trash made by non LGBT people who have no idea what LGBT means .

They didn't make her sleep with him in a way to discredit her being a lesbian (many lesbians have slept with men it doesn't make you any less then others) The way I viewed it was her sleeping with him to take the pressure off and stay hidden. I can relate because I felt insane pressure growing up and had to do the same. I understand if you have a different opinion but please don't beg to cancel the show people have different experiences and the show is doing a good job showing that in a "woke" society people do struggle coming out for different reasons and everyone has different processes.

I knew Leighton would be with Alicia the moment they introduced her. It was cute what led to why they first kissed. I just wish they didnt show the sex scene between Leighton and that guy if they didnt even show the one between Alicia and Leighton.

I really don't think that Leighton & Alicia were enemies to begin with they had 4 scenes together and I couldn't really detect any animosity between them apart from their first interaction which seemed a bit forced .
