Wavvy I know it sounds petty but this go to shot feature was in 2k24. I’m happy to see it revamped tho. It was called Regular and Aggressive breakdown combo. You triggered it the same way you triggered it last year lol.
This has to be my favorite new feature this year. The name "go-to shot" is underselling it so much. Hearing a lot of ppl say that some of them are useless because they're slow. A lot of them can be canceled out of at multiple points, which means you can create set ups out of them. E.g. use KD's dribble sequence to drive off of multiple times early in a game will cause the defender to retreat and open you up to let the full animation play out and catch them when they start to sag. Reminds me of the mind games you get in fighting games which I always thought would be a great model for the 1 on 1 aspect of an NBA game
@@Bge12609it’s a feature they brought back, but now you actually get a boost for shooting go to shots. 2k introduced it back in 2k12, but it was just called signature shots and every player had a sig shot. Difference is you can cancel out of those shots and create some crazy setups
Yo bro if you didn’t know,they have more than one go to shots animation,you just need somehow trigger it Go to shots is remind me 2K11 when you had Triangle button as signature hop
yeah bro I explained it in the vid. some players have diff go to shots depending on what hand they're dribbling with or right out of the triple threat.
I just don’t like how you can’t turn the shot meter off indefinitely like you have to choose whether it’s gonna be on for x or RS that’s corny to me it I i turn it off it should be off besides dunk meter
I’m so glad they made it easier to do this, now the casual player can have some fun and won’t have to depend on luck or fadeaways to do a proper shot off the dribble. Makes for some content on play now online.

You can also cancel out of it and continue dribble combos. Works great in Park.

Fox’s rhythm jumper is diabolical, got some People yesterday, the new animations are really fun to watch/play with.
