Lived on Andrews from 1993-97. Absolutely loved it. My dad was stationed there and we lived right across from the base hospital.

I was at Andrews from 1998 to 2003. Lived in base housing at Summerfield in Landover.

Live near Goddard, used to commute to Census...not far from Joint Base Andrews (no longer AFB). Do not miss that commute that would sometimes take me in excess of an hour, each way. I also lived in Clinton, just south of the base, all those routes are busy during the business week and often on the weekend. As far as I can tell Trump does not take the motorcade route and opts for Marine 1. There are no "inexpensive" options in the Beltway, make sure you do your research before settling on off-base housing. PS: Found you while watching Kristina Smallhorn's video...and I was in the AF in the late 80s (spent in San Antonio).

Calvert County is close by and has better schools. Southern Anne Arundel County is a good area as well.

I would avoid Charles County/Waldorf (high traffic & crime). Calvert County and southern Anne Arundel County are a better option.
