This is only theoretical but some people beleive that there’s a state after prime, it’s apex muto and 450+ feet tall. Last stage, directors semi confirmed it. Might be in later films.

Fun fact you can see queens egg sac on her belly which was a detail which I either never knew about or was never there in most kaiju games and also another fun fact mutos are direct counters to Godzilla’s race because they disable his atomic breath and slow him down with their emp blast and yet another fun fact if the mutos had actually beat Godzilla in the film the female would’ve laid eggs in his body and would have become the next muto prime since one doesn’t currently exist
Edit: yet another fun fact only one muto prime can exist and it has to be a queen muto which is a bit taller and has a larger dorsal fin than a normal female we also saw a queen in king of the monsters and guess what yet another fact is that all mutos are inbred when they hatch because as soon as they hatch a male rushes to a female that is hatching and helps her out then they are not partners or if the female is out of the egg he flies to claim her once again and let me remind mutos have their own nesting grounds far away from any other organisms so yes they are completely inbred from the start and yet another fun fact yeah I know you guys are tired but mutos feed on radiation from Godzilla’s body
