Thanks for another great vid. I prefer your voice over the narrator. It has more pumice. 😉
Like Lava soap? 😂😉😊
Please look into germ-theory versus terain-theory.
Terrain affects both pathogens and hosts. For example the fungi which causes athletes foot takes hold on hot sweaty feet.
"Terrain theory" is essentially just placing germ theory in the relevant context; there isn't any "versus" to it. It's not simply that, "X causes Y," but that, "X, under circumstances like A, generally causes Y, while X, under circumstances like B, generally does not cause Y."
Enjoyed this narrated offering, thanks. I'll just add that your upfront advice not to study up on pathogens - because it'll scare the xxxx outa ya - is right on as well :-)
Can you talk about citrus greening and how to prevent it? Thanks
Very informative video. Thank you for all your efforts.
But I disliked the narrated form and the distracting video clips/images.
When you talk ( be it without any other video clip) it's systemic ( goes inside) than the video clips which are surface applications which don't work most of the time! 🙂
Bordux mixture works great for most fungus,
It will be good if you says video than narrative
First!
Thank you for releasing this as an audio book. I purchased the hardcover book but I find myself with little to no time to actually tackle it. This audio book has been a savior. Thanks again Obi Wan!!!
You’re a great man
Great video kind Sir. Thank you.. very informative.
Thank you for your readings. I am in Canada.
Does soap water make a good insecticide?
As a contact spray yes, but do be aware that soaps and detergents will harm leaves if you use them too often and/or in high concentrations. Potassium based soaps are safest for plants and are sold in garden supply or hardware stores as 'insecticidal soap'. It is best used for walking through your garden and spraying the insect directly until it is soaked.
Yes but not all insect are affected . Thrips it doesn't effect them.
@@SimlatioWell said!
I tend to keep it more diluted than if one was doing dishes, too. 😄😊
@@JJLom777 I made a post in response to the above comment regarding use on thrips, but I suppose since I linked other sources that it was not accepted. Regardless, an Indiana university biologist suggested in a video titled 'Homemade Insecticidal Soap Treatment For Thrips And Aphids' that concentrations of 1 - 2% using dish soap was effective. I would wager this is MUCH strong than your dosages, which means you can probably be much more liberal with your spraying if it is still getting the job done. Perhaps your soap is a higher concentration or a particular surfactant that excels at the task.
Great stuff!
OH I see you are doing the Click bait mouth wide open yet again. Automatic thumbs down and I'm unsubscribing!! You have lost all credibility by click baiting images!!
The almighty algorithm boost videos with these types of thumbnails. Love it or hate it, it's what you have to do to drive engagement. If in the end it helps spread useful information does it really matter?
Sensitive man
His thumbnails are a bit off-putting occasionally but they are never outright misleading unlike 99% of click-bait on YT.
@@glenagarrett4704 there is art in that balance. The mouth open trend is overplayed for sure
I appreciate this information greatly
