I agree with you about the clove oil. It has softened my hair a lot, from what it was like before using the clove oil. Clove is great for all types of hair and scalp issues, it also helps me to reduce dandruff, so I can keep my hair in a protective style for longer.
This works! I've been using clove oil for about 2 months now and my hair breakage has decreased significantly. It's also helped a lot with growth, especially at the crown of my head where it's much thinner than everywhere else. I love it and will not stop using it. I also take biotin and collagen peptides that have helped with my hair journey too!
This sounds like a wonderful recipe. My one caution would be to double boil it in a glass bowl first. Let it cool and then put it in your applicator bottle because the plastic applicator bottle is made of 'plastic' and thus petro-chemicals and heat of any type breaks the plastic down which leaches into the clove oil. So if we are doing something good and natural for our hair why screw it up by adding toxic chemicals to it?
I watched another video of them putting the oil on the stove just to heat the oil but not bringing it to a boil, then added the cloves. This person also strained the cloves and then transferred to a bottle and but duration was a bit long bc she let sit for a couple weeks.

Do you recommend grapeseed oil specifically, or can other oils like olive or avocado be used? love cloves for so many reasons. To heat infuse, you can also put the oil and cloves in a Crock Pot to heat and infuse gently for a couple of hours on the low setting. Why don't you try this... infuse some Jamaican black castor oil for a week to 10 days, with ground cloves then use it on your edges everyday.... just a couple drops in the problem areas and massage in... your edges will thank you😊

She’s not boiling it in the bottle. She puts the bottle in the water for a short time to warm the oil for a hot oil treatment.
