Ex industrial chemist here. When making our own glassware for lab purposes, we would cut the glass in a similar way and then fire glaze the cut end with a torch. Quick and simple and much less work.
very nice. I buy this for a dollar at the dollar store. Saves me a lot of work. But nice to see you made it yourself. How money, time and effort did that cost? Personally i like wasting my time a bit differently.
Thank you! Well, of course it was more effort and time than just buying it. But it was more fun. And I had all the materials available: a piece of scrap wood, an empty nice looking bottle and a few other things. So I just needed to start building it.
@@00schralf Sir, you are right and let me apologize. My brain is wired such that i only think of the amount of money, time and effort that went into something like this. And those are important aspects to think about, but i can imagine that the joy of being able to build it yourself (even though it is a very simple idea) is worth a lot. My brain is not wired like that. I can feel fulfillment when i try to make something and finish it. BUT, i also often think: MAN< you could have bought it for a dime.
The ventilation is ingenious.
Nice one . Good job.
Thank you 🙏
Nice little project. Good job!
Thank you!

Great project! Can u safely reuse the glass of light bulbs that blew out?
Thank you! Phew I think light bulb glass is too thin maybe. But it would look awesome 🤩
Great work. Is there an insert included that holds the candle?
Thank you. Yes there is a metal insert for the candle that can be removed in case you need to clean it.
🌲🍀🍶🕯Classy Classic idea🕯🍶🍀🌲.

@ 😁👍 yes sometimes it is better to just buy things and spend the time with other important things or people. Cheers!
Tealite candles put out almost no useable light............So there is no usable functionality.
Indeed, but this is a piece of decoration. So its purpose is not a usable functionality but more spreading a nice atmosphere. Cheers
Thank you for the input, Captain Obvious
@ 😁
