And AI is on record saying as much as it hurts him Lbj is that guy. It’s online August 5, 2020 Bleacher Report by Joseph Zucker Titled “Allen Iverson says Lakers’ Lebron James is ‘The One’ over Michael Jordan” and this isn’t the only time he’s said it
Not saying you specifically but people will use players that fit their narrative to act like it’s now consensus but then if it’s not their narrative say it’s hating on Mj but everyone knows he was AI’s guy just like he has sad as much as it pains him to say it….
Honestly, people using what others say to carry their narratives says they don’t know the game enough to break these players down on their own but how come no one goes by what Pat Riley says if they’re going to go by what people say. He’s seen more nba than any of these dudes and he’s proven to be a better talent evaluator than any of them.
I’m not into calling any human goat of anything but friends, people that bow down to Mj isn’t truly breaking players down that’s just people speaking from their hearts just like if someone who didn’t like Mj said “he was alright” (just an obvious example). lol like that entrant wasn’t coordinated

Michael Jordan does things no one else has been able to do to date. He would tell his opponent exactly what he's going to do right before he does it and he'd still score. He walked into the Atlanta Hawks locker room once, told them "Lace up. It's going to be a long night." Then have a 60 point game on them.
Reggie Miller, in his rookie season had 10 points in a game while Jordan had 4. A teammate told him he's out playing Jordan. He should talk trash. So Reggie did. Reggie finished the game with 12 points, and Jordan finished with 44. Magic Johnson said, in a practice scrimmage on the Dream Team, he told Jordan, "You better turn into Air Jordan or we will blow you out." Jordan then hit 3 after 3 after 3 and Magic's team lost.
He did this stuff to NBA legends. The stories they have about encounters with Jordan are stores that don't exist for any other player.
What is disappointing is Kobe is the one who Michael Jordan was directly teaching when they'd play each other, but somehow the media automatically pushed Lebron in comparison with Jordan. That comparison doesn't exist.

@@BrandinBoyd that's objectively not why they lost in the 80s. MJ did not have the supporting cast to compete with the teams he was facing in the opening rounds of the stacked conference. They played the 59 win Bucks, Larry bird Celtics, and bad boy pistons. And all Mike had were drug users on his team.
When he got competent talent, he listened to Phil Jackson and grew them into their roles. He let Pippen run the offense, Horace/Rodman do rebounds, Kerr/Paxson shoot 3s, etc. Mike was the only midrange scorer and pull up shooter, making him by far the most valuable 90s player which is why you see such high scoring volume.

MJ was the best 2-way player the game has ever seen, you’re 100% correct that the game is more than just scoring, and MJ clears LeBron easily overall.
When they put him at PG and let him be the primary ball handler at the end of the 1989 season, he had 10 triple doubles in 11 games while still averaging over 30ppg…and MJ’s defense is the true difference maker in the argument. DPOY and tied for the NBA record with 9 1st-team all defense selections…LeBron hasn’t made an all-defensive team since he was with the Heat!
