I'm Nigerian and here's my take on the MJ and LeBron discussion: LeBron has been playing and scoring 2 decades with 4 championships But Michael won 3 (hat trick )championships in his first nine years, went away for two years and came to win another 3 (hat trick) with the same team in another eight years. My choice is Michael Jeffrey Jordan
Not Ewing. Lebron averaged 30 or more points in a season twice in his career, his 3rd and 5th yr in the league. He average over 10 assists a game once in his career, and that was 4 years ago.
And if you went back another generation, they say Kareem the goat. It's all speculative on who you're asking and if they were watching those games. 10 years from now there will be another player in that discussion and my generation will be the "old heads" talking about Dwayne Wade, Melo, LeBron, Kobe, etc

Why do people keep asking this question? The question shouldn't be asked in the first place. Ewing is right. MJ is the G.O.A.T. NO QUESTION SHOULD BE ASKED ANY MORE. MJ won six championships in a row. No one hasn't done yet, then shut up. MJ won when it counts, he hasn't allowed any slip up. Only jealousy people like Isaiah Thomas and Scottie call Lebron over MJ. G.O.A.T doesn't lose championship title when everything is set for the G.O.A.T. Longevity and facilitator G.O.A.T could not win it all. That's the fact.

Michael Jordan does things no one else has been able to do to date. He would tell his opponent exactly what he's going to do right before he does it and he'd still score. He walked into the Atlanta Hawks locker room once, told them "Lace up. It's going to be a long night." Then have a 60 point game on them. Reggie Miller, in his rookie season had 10 points in a game while Jordan had 4. A teammate told him he's out playing Jordan. He should talk trash. So Reggie did. Reggie finished the game with 12 points, and Jordan finished with 44. Magic Johnson said, in a practice scrimmage on the Dream Team, he told Jordan, "You better turn into Air Jordan or we will blow you out." Jordan then hit 3 after 3 after 3 and Magic's team lost. He did this stuff to NBA legends. The stories they have about encounters with Jordan are stores that don't exist for any other player. What is disappointing is Kobe is the one who Michael Jordan was directly teaching when they'd play each other, but somehow the media automatically pushed Lebron in comparison with Jordan. That comparison doesn't exist.
@@officialthomasjames No he isn't. The category that is most highly regarded in basketball, Lebron isn't even close. That category being clutch. His shooting percentage isn't even half of his regular percentage.

Growing up in Chicago during the championship runs, I always loved Ewings game. That man played with a ton of heart.
Yeah he did bruh! He was my guy accept when they played the Bulls.
This generation have only seen Shaq as a decent big. But Ewing was a puce center who could give you the business all day, from different angle.
The Man was a monster.

It’s a shame Ewing never played with another great player
My hate for him playimg in NY is only matched by the respect. Dude played hard never complained with no other allstats aroumd him.
I loved and hated watching the Bulls play teams like the Knicks with Ewing and Starks, the Supersonics with Payton and Kemp, the Jazz with Malone and Stockton, etc, etc. Of the big though, I was always a huge fan of Olajuwon. Not only would he kill you on defense, but his midrange would take centers way out of their comfort zone.
I appreciate Ewings' honesty.
I've never seen a player like Mike air Jordan!!!!! I caught Jordan at his ultimate Prime years!!! With Rodman and them!!! He was amazing!!! Still have not seen that type of player... Kobe was a minor version of MJ like scratching the surface of being close to Jordan level... But no. Haven't seen that Jordan effect til this day..
The Bulls/Knicks battles of the 90’s were legendary.

Yessirr!! I truly miss those days. Wish I had a time machine.
Patrick Ewing is a great player I enjoy watching him in the 90s.
Old Heads truly know the game..
These young generation dont know what a killer instinct is coz they never saw that in Lebron.

Mike Was A Killer From Day 1 Mike Was A Assassin From Day 1- Patrick Ewing
MJ literally elevated the WHOLE of the NBA. Made ALL of the NBA owners richer, turned it into prime time entertainment when MJ played. I did NOT watch sports and NBA until MJ made the event a MUST watch, once-in-a-lifetime event. Hollywood stars, etcetera, that never showed up at NBA games started showing up to witness MJ for themselves. He enriched the WHOLE platform to a level never seen at that time and never since. MJ is Bruce Lee, Muhammad Ali... never will see the likes of him in his field EVER again.

Patrick Ewing is the Reason Why I became a New York Knicks fan growing up in Oakland California. "1993”
#33 Ewing was a beast down low great shotblocker played very hard night n night out
Michael Jordan does things no one else has been able to do to date.
To be honest, through the past decade, Lebron shouldn't even be compared to Kobe.
That was actually Bird at the beginning of your story, not Mike. The rest is pretty accurate, though.
