Progress is progress right!?! 😅 I like to have a personal project along with Sandrail project that way I have something to tinker with. I've tried a couple new things with the editing. Hopefully a person whom has been watching my channel for a while can see them. Hope all is well on your end my friend! Blessings and respect!
Subbed, thank you sharing, my old man had the "superbike" version of this, not this "chopper" version and it was a great bike. Would love to see this run again.
Yep, stuck like chuck! Haha! Love those Yammy Mammy's, that's what I grew up riding, had a bunch of different size Yamahas, to me their like the Chevy of Japanese bikes! Well those and Honda's, I guess Honda would be the Mopar of Jap bikes! Haha! You know what I mean though, right?
At least your trans shifts,i just got one a few weeks ago, engine was locked too, wrench on crank shaft, same as you,up and down a few times it eventuality got free, kept messing with it,it turns over, got butterflys to free up on all carbs, got it to start and run...but..my trans is goofed up,ive read where the timing chain or starter chain has a plastic guide, pieces wear off break off, yea, falls right into trans syncros and shifting forks, looks like i may have to pull engine, split trans to do repairs,
Oh man! That's bad news indeed. Those engines have been few and far in between to find here. Here's to you being able to get to the root of it and correct the issue. Blessings and respect!
Does the clutch lever work? I wonder if you were to bring it up to the pavement, you push from the handlebars and the boy push from the rear. Just a few feet at a time at walking speed and then pop the clutch in 4th or 5th gear.
I'm not sure as I haven't tried the clutch other than looking in case and seeing the basket move. Interesting take, that may work. Definitely will keep that in mind! Thanks!! My goal is to try to save the rings, but we'll see how that goes. Blessings and respect!
Hi David, That Master link Clip On Big Hoss Is Not Right. You Need To Turn It Around The Other Way So If u Hit A Stick Or Something ,The Clip Won't Come Off.. The Open Part Of The Clip Should Be Facing The Engine , Not Towards The Rear Of The Bike , Because Of Rotation Of The Wheel ..You Will Get There With A Bit Of Patience On The 650 Yamaha. I Used To Own A - XJ 900
Hi! Yeah that's the direction I've had it feom beginning and kept having problems. So many mentioned turning it around, figured I'd give it a try. I was taught to have the link throw itself into itself, like your talking about. Very true, eventually it'll break loose and I can start to move forward with it. Blessings and respect!
@@1SmittysGarage Ok If Thats The Case U Need To Put The Link in Through The Front of The Chain & Put The Clip On The Back. Because Something Is Grabbing The Link Like A Bolt Head Or The Part Where The Small Cog Is U Need To Investigate It, Put It On A Stand & Spin The Wheel, Look Every Where The Chain Goes For Anything That Could Be Grabbing The Link Clip. Remember The Chain Flexes & Could Grab A Bolt For Example & Rip Off The Link Clip
Engine was definitely in bad shape. Well beyond freeing up and getting going again. Will need an overhaul. Thanks for checking it out. Blessings and respect!
Everyday we wake up is a victory. Keep up the good work see y’all next time. Stay safe

Hola, podrías activar los subtítulos al video? No hablo ingles y no entiendo un pingo gringo, saludos!
How much is this bike worth
Got great sentimental value but otherwise, probably an average value of early 80's bikes. Thank you for checking it out. Blessings and respect!
