    You didn't tell us about the location and that's part of the importance of renting a place because it goes
    vis- a- vis with the whole package. Most greatful.
    Thank you!!

    Great video with lots of great info! Do you have any contact numbers or Facebook marketplace information for this housing complex? My lease ends soon and I would love to rent a fully furnished place like this!

      First, thanks for watching and leaving a comment! I will put a link to a group that a friend of mine runs where there are several furnished apartments available in the area. He's super professional and everyone who works with him become satisifed customers. The link is : facebook.com/groups/252741089839263
      Also the name of the place that I rented is called Beyond Suites and the move in process is straight forward wit no co-signer needed. Here is the link:facebook.com/BeyondSuitesGDL/ Also you can search Facebook place and adjust your desired price range. I hope that helps!

    Did they ask for a co signer?

    • @wheresjarell3854
      @wheresjarell3854  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For this apartment, they didn’t as it’s run by a company and they are very open to foreigners to stay there even for a six month lease. Just paid a deposit and showed my income then signed the contract and it was good to go!

    That view is killer and the apartment is pretty good for the price. I would like to see what it looks like at night. Also I noticed you said you like to cook on gas why so?

    • @wheresjarell3854
      @wheresjarell3854  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes this place is great for what it has and the money I pay for it. I definitely will show the night view in a future video! As to your question about cooking I prefer gas because it's easier to control the temperature I like the more traditional way cooking .I guess I'm old school! Haha. Thanks for watching and your comment!

    Wow, wasn't it sort of a risk to do it off of Facebook rather than in person? How is the electricity, gas and water supply? Is the gas piped in? Which neighborhood are you in? How do you get your cash? Are you on a temporary working visa? Why did you choose Guadalajara?

    • @wheresjarell3854
      @wheresjarell3854  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello there! To answer your first question , it wasn't a risk at all. Facebook Marketplace is a great tool and you can speak directly with realtors or lanlords to set up a meeting to view the apartment in person. In this apartment from the video the gas,water, electricity and internet were all included but that can differ depending on the place you decide to rent. In my current place I pay internet and electricity only with water included in the rent.Gas is connected to a tank outside in my current apartment but in bigger buildings they run through internal pipes. My old neighborhood is Mexicaltzingo close to centro and now I currently live in Providencia. I got cash by transfering money from my US account to my Mexican account and I am a temporary resident who works remotely for a US company. I chose Guadalajara simply becaus I love it here and a better fit than Merida where I previously lived. Thanks for watching and I hope I was able to answer your question!

      @@wheresjarell3854 Absolutely. I find Col. Americana and Providencia very appealing. I hope to keep following your videos. I guess it's not nearly as hot as in Mérida! No blackouts? 😉

      @@wheresjarell3854 How did you decide on which neighborhood to check? Did you come from Mérida and stay first in a hotel? Did you try Playa del Carmen too?

    How walkable is it from your apartment?

    • @wheresjarell3854
      @wheresjarell3854  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Super close! Only a 10 minute walk to arrive in the heart of the historic center. Guadalajara is a very walkable city and no matter where you are in the city there are sidewalks everywhere. Thanks for watching and your comment!

    Can I find a clean (none condo apartment) for 200$ /300$ a month?

    • @wheresjarell3854
      @wheresjarell3854  ปีที่แล้ว

      You definitely can find that here for sure. The only thing is it may be far from the city center where all the action is or it may be in a not so desirable neighborhood. It does exist and you can even rent a full house for $300 USD monthly! I reccommend checking out Facebook Marketplace as you can customize your search for different prices and other options to find apartments in Guadalajara. Thanks for your comment and watching my video! Much appreciated and please feel free to reach out with any other questions you may have!

    How many deposits required?

    • @wheresjarell3854
      @wheresjarell3854  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For this specific place just one month deposit equal to one month’s rent. If you’re interested the place is called Beyond Suites Guadalajara if you want to check it out. Thanks for watching and I hope I was able to help you!
