I love that people think the toy animatronics care about the old animatronics No, actually far from it, toy animatronics don’t care about the olds, and I especially like that the mangle loves children, dudes, she can’t love children, children broke her, and it’s clear from her words that when she sees a child, she’s ready to take him apart and reassemble him Old animatronics also hate toys, stop doing this, the fact that they love and respect each other is nonsense
I'm not talking about your AU but what I hate about the missing kids is that they think they had it so bad when they were killed but in reality William really had it worse, and yes he may have killed kids and deserved it but his death was a lot more painful and pain inducing than the kids, the only other people who had as bad of deaths were elizabeth, michael, and evan(chris, c.c whatever you call him). So I hate it when comic people or people like them make their comics and try to make it seem like the kids had worse deaths than William. Heres how I mean, William when he was killed was killed by the springlocks, which im pretty sure there were like at most 20 springlocks if not more in the suits, which means when they went off he had at most 20 little claw like locks digging into his body, probably tearing his skin and two steel rods piercing into his jaw and his eyes replaced with the suits eyes, probably crushing them as well, and while that happened they just watched and listened to him suffer, and I'm not saying he didn't deserve it nor did he, i'm just saying his death was definatly a lot more gruesome and worse than the kids, not even getting into his kids death's(Also sorry for the essay lookin ahh comment, just saying)
William didn’t have it worse, because he never saw it as that. In the books, we learn he not only survives the springlock failure, but also embraces his new form as Springtrap. He’s happy with the cards he was dealt, while the Missing Children were murdered, and forced to inhabit machines. Then their metal bodies were once again destroyed by Afton, where he tortured their souls again by putting their remnant in the Funtimes. While Afton is proud with what happened to him, the children feel torture and misery, they truly had it worse.
That's headcanon. We have absolutely 0 idea why William does what he does. For all we know William is loving it- and besides this is a grown man tragedy or not, killing children is inexcusable. Even if he was suffering he's *still* a monster. Don't glorify a crime you've never had to be a victim of.
