Nancy Mace, the question asked by George Stephanopoulos about supporting Donald Trump, a convicted rapist, is a fair question.
In the case in question he was specifically not found liable for rape but was found liable for sex ual assault. So how can one call him a rapist if he was never convicted or found liable for that in a court of law?
First she plays the victim by suggesting that by commenting about the ruling against Trump is an effort to "shame" her about a rape that no one had previously known to have ever existed, and then she goes on actually shaming Trump's victim.
The perfect example of what happens when you don’t get therapy for your trauma. It’s sad to see.
George was incredibly resilient and unrelenting in his questioning. Kudos to him for not backing down and shredding her credibility while exposing her hypocrisy.

When she said it was a "civil" trial, not criminal, the follow-up question should have been "Do you believe E. Jean Carrol?"

I witnessed this interview while it was happening and I couldn’t believe my ears. This woman immediately decided to make it personal to avoid answering the question. It’s was never asked about her personal situation but she kept pushing the issue. A example of a great bullshit artist, and I’m a Republican. Lord Help Us!
