In general it works much more smoothly than any other driver‘s assistancr on the market and has much less failures than for example the Teslas. And that‘s Mercedes level 2 I Talk about. Level 3 is even much better, but very limited (mostly due to legal stuff and laws) at the moment that‘s true. But there you must keep in mind they are the only company even offering it. No one else has it

But nowadays there is a bigger market for expensive premium cars, than a few years ago where you could get a new Mercedes for 40K.

You’re correct: A Class super cheap interior- I had one: endless rattles. And yes: new C Class also cheap- the C220d I owned exhibited the same rattles and endless squeaks. And software issues- the ABS module failed within 10 days of taking ownership from new!! The car was inoperable for a month waiting for a part. Unfortunately chasing sales is resulting in cost cutting across all products : my opinion.
@@djplonghead5403 It does. It's evasive steering ASSIST. It requires the driver to jerk the wheel which prompts the system to then correct. Most of the time, with evasive maneuvers, people over correct and end up spinning out and doing too much steering input. Evasive steering ASSIST prevents that.
Unfortunately current (new) Mercedes cars won’t age like fine wine like the real ones of the 1970s through to the 1980s which were over engineered and properly designed. Way too many screens and gimmicks these days.
Mostly the drivers are the engineers of the car, so they know everything about the technology and how it works. And all Mercedes cars get developed in germany, so it makes more sense to bring an expert from germany than a salesman from the us, who drives the car for the first time.
