One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

But I do have a big question: any suggestions to charge my AirPods when using an earhook to have them properly seated in my ear? Basically, I unfortunately have one of those ears in which AirPods, EarPods and most in-ear headsets just don't fit/stay. Given the high price of the AirPods and my for sure not wanting to ever lose them (sometimes even without noticing that they fell from my ear, because they are so inobtrusive), I have purchases simple earhooks that secure them properly in my ear (I bought EarBuddyz 2.0 Ear Hooks and Covers Accessories for Apple AirPods). They work great but my AirPods don't fit in the charging case unless I pull them out each time I need to charge the AirPods. I'd love to find a solution where I could charge the AirPods while keeping the EarBuddyz on. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

dude, you need to re-edit your audio. Your music track way overpowers your spoken track. So, to hear what you are trying to say i have to turn it all the way up. Then when it is only music playing it blows my ears away. You probably have good things to say but I cannot the the pain of your video(s). This is a typical rookie mistake. If you want I can give you some tips on audio editing within a video. Small bit of advice, listen to the people giving feedback mand fix your sound issues. If they cared enough to give you feedback then you should probably take to heart what they are saying. Especially when there are more than 3 of the same feedback offerings. The only way I've been able to duplicate your issue is by the AirPods not being active. So my best recommendation would be to Uninstall the AirPods while your iPhone is connected to the internet so they get removed from iCloud as well, restart your iPhone, wait about 10-20 min. for iCloud to catch up, they pair them again. If that doesn't work I'd recommend resetting your AirPods and then trying again. If that doesn't work then I'd recommend talking to an Apple Genius at the Apple store as something is seriously wrong!! Hope it works out for you!!

They do make a chime sound when they connect to a device and when the battery is low they make a different sound that's hard to describe, but you can't mistake it!

The charging depends on the case. Either wirelessly or by lighting cable! The case lasts around 24 hours, and the AirPods themselves last around 4.5-5 hours on a charge.

One would think explaining how to charge them are for how long would have been the first thing you touched on. Way too many people out there assume people know and gets really frustrating.

Depending on the power source they usually charge pretty fast, maybe an hour on average when I plug my AirPods case with the AirPods inside in to my 5W iPhone charger.

How long to charge the case depends on the power adapter used, but I find the case usually charges in 1 to 1.5 hours when I plug them into a computer. The AirPods themselves have approx. a 5 hour battery life. Putting them back in the case for 15 min. will quick charge them enough for about 2 hours of use. If you're using them to talk on the phone then I think the AirPods have a 2 hour battery life.

AirPods don't have lights on them, only the case has 1 status light. So if your headphones have lights on them, they aren't Apple AirPods.

How long to charge the case depends on the power adapter used, but I find the case usually charges in 1 to 1.5 hours when I plug them into a computer. The AirPods themselves have approx. a 5 hour battery life. Putting them back in the case for 15 min. will quick charge them enough for about 2 hours of use. If you're using them to talk on the phone then I think the AirPods have a 2 hour battery life.
Tech IRL sometimes i have trouble getting them to work. I have 3 other devices I use bluetooth for. Is this why? How many devices can I have. I know only one at a time works but my phone seems to be confused. Any help here
