Yeah, we really need some kind of follow up. There was Bouken Jidai Katsugeki Goemon on PS2, which was a return to the first N64 game's style, but unfortunately it was only released in Japan. Apparently it almost came to the US and was even at E3 2002.
Yep. There are many more I want to remix from this game. There are quite a few similarities to Ocarina Of Time in it. Besides the obvious ones, the ones I always noticed were OOT's Fire Temple Firewall room and MN's Gourmet Submarine Castle invisible path. The rooms seemed similar to me. Another was the boulder room from OOT's Spirit Temple and the rotating rope room from MN's Ghost Toys Castle. Basically the same room with different obstacles.
Yes, yes, yes! Absolutely amazing. I've always loved Festival Village, it used to be a milestone for progress in the game for me. It had such a wonderful, cosy atmosphere while being so full of life. Still lovin' these Goemon tunes!
Amazing 😍. I'm going crazy trying to find this Goeman song I used to listen to. I think it's from the sequel. It had a very ethereal sound. I'm not sure what ethereal is but that's the best way to describe it
The more I listen to this the more I just kinda lose myself in it. I half dread if they put Mystical Ninja on Nintendo online for the outdated controls to take away what felt like such a huge and odd and magical game when I was a kid. The music is still incredible though and this remix is divine.
Love this song. Love goemon OST. I closed my eyes and saw myself in that village. Fantastic remix. Would love to make my own! :-) hope you publish more remixes commemorating this magnificent saga Konami created for us.
manex aguirrezabalaga Thanks a lot. :) I wish I could remix certain soundtracks more. But sometimes it depends. It can take many reattempts, or I can be completely in the zone and make something right off the bat. But it has to be good. The Japan Sea [Underwater] remix I did in 2010 pales in comparison to this and stuff I make in the future.
Dude release an album and I will support. I love Goemon and the music associated with the game! You added a refreshing take on the genre and after years of listening to the same tunes, have given me something new yet nostalgic to vibe to!
Hello IceInferno, your work is amazing ... I absolutly adore this remix :) I would like to hear some more Goemon remixes ! Maybe "Floating world town" from Goemon's great adventure
Floating World Town could be possible soon. I've got a lot of projects I'm juggling, but November will be quieter, so I can be more selective about remixes.
lol One guy complained about it. It fits though. It's the track of the Mutsu area before you get to Mt. Fear. The howling wolves and harsh winds help set the atmosphere.
Thanks :) I still think the game could be maybe 3 times bigger than it is. There are barely any locations in the north region of Japan in the game. Gourmet Submarine Castle, Festival Village, Ugo Stone Circle, the Witch's House. That shouldn't be it. lol I like the Ghost Toys/Folkypoke region best for Yamato, Tosa and Awaji Island.
Listening to this after the surprising announcement...... Konami announced a new Goemon game. Will Konami win the hearts of fans or not? Lovely remix iceferno!!
Ah i see. That's too bad, would have loved to have a version without the wolves, they seem kinda overpowering and taking away from the superrelaxed sound of this incredible song.
bringitonTV Well, the wolves are part of Mutsu, the little snow area before you get to the town. And at the end of the remix, it's like you leave the town. I'd like to remix Mount Fear too, but it's hard to get right.

There's an ancient japanese saying that goes like this: _no person who likes Mystical Ninja 64 ost can be a bad person_
The Japanese are wise beyond their years.
Truth beyond everything
Bruh this legit made me cry from nostalgia
I am so sad this game is so underrated, would love to play Goemon Adventure 3 on Switch or something. Too bad we all have to grow up and move forward.

@@Iceferno that game looked like Zelda lol
@@ETFigureunboxingE And it's a very good game, I highly recommend it.
@@ETFigureunboxingE it's a mix between mario's platforming and zelda's dungeons, really cool.
Appreciate it while it's still untainted by the masses lol
This goes well with that first snow of the season.
This song has made my summer this year takes me back to being 10 again love your work ❤️
It's a chore to go through the game and then you make it to festival village and find peace
@@justinkongglang7080 I personally enjoyed the Zazen Town/pre-Ghost Toys stuff, but the journey to North Japan was really nicely done.
This was always my favorite place to go in Mystical Ninja. The song soothes my soul like nothing else.
Love this game; LOVED this remix man!

Sounds like you have some great ideas for remixes!
This is one of my favorite video game remixes ever, I keep coming back to it years later
Thanks man. I'm going to return to N64 Goemon music really soon. Both those games had amazing tracks.
Wow, that's nice. I always loved the music from Goemon.

Thanks! Could you mean Mokeke Forest? That's a very ambient/ethereal track.
@@Iceferno yeah your right, I like this one but it's not the same song. I'll remember it as soon as I hear it but I'll listen to this for now
The more I listen to this the more I just kinda lose myself in it. I half dread if they put Mystical Ninja on Nintendo online for the outdated controls to take away what felt like such a huge and odd and magical game when I was a kid. The music is still incredible though and this remix is divine.
you make the best remixes for my favorite game. Thank you for existing good sir.
Thank you. :) Another series I may be able to return to this year. So many favourites from this game.
Yamato and Tosa are two of my favourites. :)
If anyone is wondering why those dogs sound familiar, the same clip is used in some Wario games. Like Wario Land 4
Love this song. Love goemon OST. I closed my eyes and saw myself in that village. Fantastic remix. Would love to make my own! :-) hope you publish more remixes commemorating this magnificent saga Konami created for us.

I REALLY like how you are using sounds from the game itself or similar ones to make the music even more nostalgic. :D
An absolutely gorgeous theme, no matter which way you look at it; and your remix only further enhanced it. Bravo.
Thanks a lot. You can hear this on my radioshow on Sunday - tiny.cc/alecnew
Iceferno I'll take you up on that, thanks!
Omg I just found this and my ears are so happy right now. ^_^
Happy Holidays. :)
You remixed one of my most memorized songs from this game, thank you.
never played this game but this remix is encouraging me to give it a try.
awesome work like always ICEFERNO.
this is amazing

Amazing work! I'd love to hear more from this series by you.
You absolutely Made my day
you're too good...
You should also tackle the Goemon's Great Adventure OST...a lot of gems there too...

The best gaming and Music ever only the best! 😻
This gives me Ōkami vibes and I love both games!
Your remixes are great!! ^^
Incriiiivel! Só podia tirar os uivos... Diversão demais no meia quatro!
this is so cool!
This sounds absolutely beautiful. I hope you do a remix of Goemon 2's (N64) map theme someday.
You have a new fan
Nice remix
omg... like!!!! amazing work :)
This is like...fucking amazing?
Thanks. I hope I can in future. I've made an attempt before, but it wasn't quite good enough.
hahaha those dogs though XD

great work man , can u make the remix of submarine castle from this awesome game plz? :) ???
Essa música eh da minha infância
Awete 🙏 gratidão
Esse jogo marcou minha infância no n64
Awesome
Dolex Ebisumaru so good

doggo shh I try to listen
I'd love a quieter version of this without the foxes in the background. It's just a really great song for sleeping I don't know why.

i have it:);)

I'd love to do Yamato & Tosa in one track. :)

AWESOME REMIX!!! Would you mind if I used it in a video of my trip to Japan's mountains?
Feel free. :) Be sure to link me when you're done. I'm always interested in seeing how my music is used.
YOU ROCK MAN!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! It should be done by wednesday! ; ]
Lit. 👌
Super nice, I would like to know what instruments were used?
The Koto and an orchestral flute were the main leads. I also used some indie kits and pads.

is there a version without the dogs barking
Good but too much dog hauling
