A very impressive collection you've got displayed. The bane for every collector is the real estate to house them all. It didn't help matters that Marvel Legend's released the most action figures it ever has in 2023.
Those shelves with the LED strips lined around it might do you well. Mine only has the glass on the front “door” to the display, where the back is the same hard material as most shelves. Heck, you could even just not install the glass and it would probably get you where you wanna go. The LEDs would potentially solve your lighting problem in the display.
Somehow missed this video when it went up. Have you considered the youtuber classic Ikea Billy bookcase? I believe it'll give you that additional depth you're looking for. Regardless of what you end up going with, if you buy it in/paint it white that'll cut down on shadows. Speaking as someone that went hard on black furniture, I mostly regret it lol. As I've gotten older, I prefer a more natural brown/wood color to my furniture, not unlike your main shelf. LED accent lights are the way to go in order to elevate a display shelf for sure.
Insane collection ! I know the feel of trying to figure out the shelving stuff as I am currently also trying to figure out what to do with my own display (not really figure display as I keep most of my figures in tubs) in my room.
Thanks for the tour! Not sure about a solution for your display dillemma. The unfortunate thing is that you may need a bigger space/need to move the shelf to where a existing shelf is... which may create a musical chairs of shelf displays and having to put stuff into storage. I know for me, I am going to start rotating my shelves every few months. That way I actually interact with my collection more and challenge myself to change things up with themes and character composition. It will mean certain figures get relegated to bin duty for a bit but better than potentially crowding my displays wanting everything to have a place (which ironically will drown out figures). Especially my GI Joe and Classic Marvel shelves which are pretty full 😅
I have no advice. Except to say good luck! I actually do try to display every era of X-Men by individual teams and… it’s just impossible to find room anymore.

I reccomend put one Spider-Man in your Street Level shelf. In fact, characters like Punisher and Kingpin are also Spider-characters
