The wall had moisture from a clothes dryer on it for years and it had damaged the plaster, I chipped the top layer of plaster off and re-set the damaged section of the wall with CSR Cornice Adhesive. it is a good idea to have clothes dryers ducted to the out side of the house to stop this occurring.
