Got mine today.. setup and ready to go..Im familiar with Soundswitch so that was helpful..there is a learning curve to getting everything to do what it's supposed to do. That being said this is a great product and saved me days of programming. I cant wait til I can actually dig a little deeper and add my own flair
I will be buying lots of new stuff from Both Lightning very soon to upgrade my setup for weddings, I guess there shouldn't be any problem if I buy your SS Shortcut and use it with 4x ir4 (Both), 2x Aura 19x15 (Both) & 6x 360 Tubes (Both), right? Sadly I just seen I wouldn't make it to that discounted price 🥲

Will your presets work with any fixtures? How will the static looks apply to my shehd wash movers, spot movers, beam light bars, and uplights? Will it be customized according to my fixtures? Thank you
Witu the DIY option, some lights need to be added, and I have a video showing how to do that. Some lights are just drag and drop, others are copy and paste. But once you do that, you get all the design. I also have the option where I take your setup and apply it to the SS shortcut
Daryl, how many uplights would you recommend for a DJ starting out who will mainly be doing private parties and weddings only? And do you think Soundswitch and Both Lighting would be the way to go? Or better to get one of the newer AI boxes for DMX? Thanks for another great video.
I really like SoundSwitch, haven't tried AI box yet, but there's a few things that SoundSwitch offers that other solutions dont. I'd say 16 is a good number. 24 is really as many as I ever bring, even though I own 48 now.
By offsetting the movements in the autoloops, or by having one fixture have a movement effect, and the other moving head fixture have the reverse movement effect
In the video you show the new Both 100w Battery Moving Heads. I have a pair arriving tomorrow. Is that the profile that is used in Soundswitch Shortcut V2.0 ?

@@DJDarylBennett To be Honest the learning curve is pretty steep. i'm a Full time A/V Tech and Dj on the weekends and i'm still having so much trouble figuring out the programming of the software, and with the new update the videos i watch on youtube to learn it now is kind of irrelevant. I have 4 Beam movers 7R at 16CH. and i cannot get them to function, my IR4 and Tubes are fine though. also i'm not quite understanding the pause/play and automation feature either. Thanks for replying Daryl! i've been a huge fan for a while now. keep it up man!

One question …do we need to re-auto script tracks when ever we add an updated project file?
Not 100% necessary but it definitely helps so the new fixtures don't just listen to the master track
