I trust her recipies, but it doesnt seem that she does much to change the cauliflowers taste, so it'll still tase like cauliflower. And if you dont like that taste then i dont think you'll like this tbh

I made this tonight. It was freaking delicious definitely a keeper recipe. The one thing I did differently is after massaging the oil. I broke the cauliflower apart into large chunks and roasted it. I did that because of the other people on here saying there might be worms and bugs inside.When I broke it apart, it was clean as a whistle. Anyway, it was really delicious, like something you’d get from a restaurant.
The recipe is great but u have to check in between the flowers of cauliflower to avoid small worms and accumulated dust. I understand u are boiling it but we seprte the flowers individually and boil it in salt water in India.
Cauliflowers have little green bugs in between the segments of it. If u don't wash them properly, which doesn't happen unless u cut it. You'll be eatin them. Other than that nice recipe
This is a Jew-ish recipe and we can’t eat bugs we know exist if we intend to keep kosher, so we would soak the cauliflower in a big bowl of water and a splash of vinegar for a couple of hours and most of the big insects will rise to the top!

My fab way to cook cauliflour is to cut the fresh cauliflower (or use frozen) and toss it witj olive oil, salt, curry powder, and garahm masala. I bake it in the oven at like 350-375 and cook for 15-25 minutes or until nice and crispy but not burnt. Yummy lil curry cauliflower snack.
This was my freaking childhood dream, when i was young, in winter i used to always eat rice with ghee/butter and fried cauliflower pieces and i used to ask my mum if she would fry me a whole cauliflower and she used to say that the inside will be raw even if the outside is fried 😢I LOVE CAULIFLOWERSSS 💛💛💛
In Czechia we make fried cauliflower and it's litterally one of my favourite meals. Divide into smaller pieces and put in flour, eggs (or some sticky vegan option), breadcrumbs and fry 😁
As many have suggested, please try the Indian snack gobi manchurian if you don’t like cauliflower. It’s fried in the same spices as chilli potato dishes and tastes really good. Best part about it is how it goes well with any chutney/ketchup/mayo combo.

This looks so good!! I always used to eat plain boiled cauliflower, and never liked it... Until I started making it in the oven with parmesan cheese and some lemon zest. It's soooo good! Cauliflower is my favourite vegetable now
Fitgreenmind, When you parboil the cauliflower at the beginning, if you like a yellow color, you can add 1 tsp of Haldi/Turmeric for that golden color.

If your worried about bugs in your vegetables , place them in a large bowl of water and 1/4 cup of vinegar for 10 mins . Rinse off and and use , the taste of vinegar is gone , clean veggies , good to go . PS :: never eat strawberries without doing the vinegar rinse first .

Add a dash of cumin if you like it. Bake apples or pears while youre baking the veggie. . About 350 ° for 35 to 45 minutes. Or until cauliflower is tender. Good with crusty hot french bread, carrots cooked with a little butter or ghee and cherry tomatoes halved and added the last few minutes of cooking. Lemon sherbet for a cooling dessert. Tasty😮😮😮

When it comes out of the oven it looks like a giant popcorn🍿 My children ate a lot of it too but they didn't like the sauce. So I had more for myself😅 I just don't know if I will use olive oil the next time. My oven was really smokey like the oil was heated up too much. I think it's not recommended to heat up olive oil that high.
In Germany you can buy Brat-Olivenöl which is olive oil that has a very high smoke point so it's perfect for cooking or roasting in the oven. Maybe you can find it in your country or use Avocado oil (also very high smoke point). 😊

We Indians won't have the courage to bake it whole and then even eat it whole. The chances of almost every one of these having some type of insect(caterpillar🐛) or even a small snake🐍(curled up inside) is insanely likely, so you shouldn't either! I know you boiled it in water for a good amount of time, but still can't factor out eating a dead insect, etc.

Oh yeah in India we use corn flour slurry mixed with spices and deep fry. It's called Gobi 65. It's an awesome starter 😊

You can air fry it too. Still tastes good.
