My dad was the same. He only finished through sixth grade. He helped work the farm (he was born in 1926). But he was the smartest man I knew. If he didn’t know how to do something, he would get a book and read about it. Any plumbing, electrical or remodeling he knew how to do it. I like to think that’s where I got my love of crafting from. Love today’s project. You’re also a great presenter. Thanks from my heart for all you do.
Ms. E, Thank you for showing us different ways of doing things. These Library Pockets and Cards are fantastic! They also could be used to send a gift card. Awesome!
dear Mrs.E. thanks for the freebies...........I have no printer but they are fantastic..........my dad was the best dad ........born 1930..............he always was my rock in stormy seas...............Blessings and Greetings from Daggy ,Kiel,Germany☘☘☘
I just love this weeks Freebies, they are so much fun, thank you. My mother could add columns of figures in her head and give you a correct answer. My mother was self taught after the 2nd grade, my father said she was the smartest person he had ever met, there wasn't anything she couldn't figure out.
Love your stories E. My grandpa had to quit school after 8th grade to work on the farm which he lost in the depression. He went on to be an inventor. He invented the first sweet corn harvester. We have a large book of all of his patented inventions. People back in those days were so resourceful.
I love to make and use library pockets! Thank you for the Freebie for Christmas pockets and cards. Can’t wait to make some to use in my journals. 💕🎄🎁🎅🏻⭐️💕
Last year we started a winter wonderland..snowflakes..deer..green..brown..white. with brown paper sacks & print brown paper with whit bows. It was beautiful with the green & faux leather brown pillows..& brown & winter white cozy fuzzy blanket on the couch. It was just beautiful so I'm doing it again! Of course I'm in a 3 room apt. All of your ideas sound amazing & I can't wait to see them!
I’m working on Christmas Advent Memory journals for the 11 grandkids. I have to have them in their hot little hands by Dec 1 through the mail. I’m mass making something fierce. These freebies would be a nice addition.
Thanks for the great freebies. They will be great addition to Christmas journals. I like the template idea. You always give such helpful tips. Glad you are back and appear to be feeling better... hope you are. Love your stories too. It is like we are having a chat. Take care.
I love watching your videos miss E. I lost a very dear 93 year old friend last night, who was like a mum to me after my mother went to Heaven. Watching you helps take my mind off things for a little while
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful creations, and for the free download! My dad could do math like that in his head as well. Have a great day!
Always love what you create. I’ve learned so many new ways to decorate my journals from you and Melina. There isn’t one day that goes by that I don’t watch you both. I am a night owl so I’m usually up late. There is an hour difference between Virginia and Alabama with Virginia being an hour ahead. Love your new fall digitals. Have a wonderful day. 💕🐿🦋
It's amazing to me that you just estimate distance or size on your card making and it turns out right. I never estimate the measurements well. And I love your digitals! 😊
Thanks so much for another gorgeous freebie. I love that you show each step so clearly. I have never made a library pocket am definitely going to make these and use them for a gift card/treat holder. So cute!
Thank you for the wonderful video! I so enjoy crafting along with you! Also, thank you for the beautiful freebies! You and your daughter are always generous to us!
Buying the horse is the cheap part... It's everything else that goes along with them that adds up. I am speaking from experience 😉. Actually, I enjoyed my horses but unfortunately circumstances were such that I couldn't keep them. Still miss them.
Great library cards and pockets! Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy then too! I'll come back when I get a new printer! I'm looking into the best option for me in an HP printer so I can use their ink service. You and Melina have convinced me that's the way to go. My last printer's cartridges cost me about $130 for each and it required 4 different ones. I need a much cheaper option! Ms. E I think your chair is making creaking noises at this time, as it knows the family is gone this weekend, so it's giving you background noise! Lol 😆 😉 🙃 TFS! Hugs from South Dakota 🤗
thank you so much. Miss Edith!. it might be your allergies. we have had rain all week and 40degrees. so cold and wet. my doggy doesnt like the rain either.
Thanx so much for your awesome freebie!! I was going to order some stuff from your shop from up here in Canada, but your shipping fee of $23 U.S. is $31 CDN and is more than my order. :(
International shipping is very expensive. We don't charge this the shipping company does. We make no money on shipping. This is all calculated by USPS.
Your dad sounds a lot like my son. If you asked him to add two numbers then watched his eyes, they'd be moving side to side so fast it almost wasn't noticeable, in a couple seconds you got the right answer. The problem was, in school, you had to write down the work to get the answer, he had a hard time doing that, so I went round and round with the school system. When he was first learning math, I showed him how to use his fingers, when he did that at school, he was told he wasn't allowed to add that way, mhm, seriously, he was in kindergarten. I told him he was allowed to and if they didn't like it, to have them call me, you do what you gotta as a parent, yep, they didn't care for me, lol. Hope you're feeling better after all your dental issues. My dentist says I'm his only patient that makes him nervous, I've been sent home several times because I don't get numb easily, it's always a nightmare, lol.
And with this new map that they have out today, They won't let the children do the math in their heads. They have to write everything down. They have to show how they got their answer. My grandson is in the eighth grade this year. But in the seventh grade he was taking a test. Got the answers right? However, because he didn't show the work the way they wanted it. She gave a mozilla for it so later when I saw what happened. I contacted the teacher and I said. How is that unfair to the child? When he knows how to do it in his head.. So she let him go back and take it And of course he got a hundred percent that's old school.

There's money in horses.... I know. I put it there 😜. How to make a little money in horses.... Start with a LOT of money LOL!
