Me and one of my friends who's a girl have same marks in UG. Only difference is caste. She got selected and me not.... Better to mention in notification that it's only for backward class.. Already they have lot of reservations and fundings. Giving again and again by neglecting others is truly unfair.
How long will these sc st students get advantage? My daughter is not eligible to get this scholarship. Why? Her cgpa is 8.5 in graduation and our annual income is also low.

I think there are many criterias mentioned for PG scholarship in the guideline notification 2021- 1) 30 % seats reserved for single girl child/ twin girl etc. If cut off are lesser for those girls that is beacuse 3000 scholarships are reserved for girl child. Other girls who are not falling under single girl/twin girl reservation, will be competing with rest 70% unreserved students. 2) 50% reserved for Science, technology, medical stream and 50 % reserved for Humanities, management etc. So if somebody is getting selected at lesser % than yours please check he/she belongs to which stream, because stream wise cut off will vary, after considering separate 30% reservation for girl child. 3) It is only applicable to students who have applied in 1st semester of PG course. Others have been denied from the merit list.

8 lakh income is so high . It's based on merit in ug and the family income status also. If you read the guideline carefully you can find that.
