- The Trap Door is a British animated television series, originally shown in the United Kingdom in 1986. The plot revolves around the daily lives and the misadventures of a group of monsters living in a castle. These include a blue creature called Berk, a spider-like creature called Drutt and Boni who was a skull of unknown origin. Although the emphasis was on humour and the show was marketed as a children's programme, it drew much from horror and dark fantasy.
The show has since become a cult favourite and remains one of the most widely recognised British children's shows of the 1980s.

@@stewsretroreviews That's good to hear, I already watched the original danger mouse And Button moon In the past and they loved Them, Also tried original He-man But they won't impressed , We are currently watching the 90s X Men And once we're through that maybe we're moving on to this cartoon

Great post mate. The Trap Door was one of my favourite programs when I was a kid. Never forgot the words "BURK!! Where's my dinner?" 😂

One of my favourite kids shows of the 80s Ed, even bought it for my kids when they were little, they loved it too, and I've still got the Dvd of the full series in my collection 😊
Also the speccy game is spot on too 👍

Nice!! Great that the kids loved it too mate; I'm trying to get my son into it. I bought the dvd a few weeks back. Think I had a VHS with a handful of episodes on as a kid. I've seen some footage of the game via Tez (RowlandReviews channel) and it looks amazing! Berk is a big old sprite isn't he. Cheers so much Paul!

Cheers Lee! Yes, it's copyrighted but the owner allows it to be uploaded (you obviously can't make money for it but as I'm not monetised, and have no plans to, it's really not an issue :0)). A class programme that I've a tonne of memories of. Trying to get my son into it now haha.

Me too! One of my faves. Crumbs I can't quite remember but thought I saw it after school. Very likely it was rebroadcast a tonne so may also have ended up on Saturday telly. Going Live is a blast from the past!

I always looked forward to Saturday morning tv when at my grandparents for the weekend.
