As someone who has been experiencing this tramatic situation we call "homelessness" for 2 long, arduous, cruel, unusual, devastating, heartbreaking, lonely, confusing, informative, transformative, awe inspiring, strength and wisdom building years of my life, this song brings an avenue to release sorrow, and be renewed with hope. Seemingly contradictory to some, very much like my time out here,; I've seen darkness that exists that I could never fathom or understand, but I've also seen the heights of the greatness of human kindness and love Ive seen incredible acts of selflessness. I've seen despare and apathy and emptiness but I've also seen creativity and passion and potential. through it all in my weakest most depressing moments of despair as I cried out to God, when you give up, just at the end of my rope, God is somehow every single time proven his faithfulness over and over again in unexplainable and surprising ways. With him I'm always home that's a foreign feeling at times but his goodness is incredible and it shines in the darkest places. the value of every human life has been pressing me so deeply that every person deserves a place to call home. I pray that as I try to live out my purpose and the reason I was born that I will be instrumental in healing and leading the way for others. I have so many important stories to tell so many important things to say, pray that the correct platform comes my way soon.
It's inspiring to see you holding on to Hope after all that you've endured. Wish you a great future ahead brother. Take care. Keep inspiring.

Yes!! We’ve been waiting for this. Love this song in the movie...so poignant for the kids...they know the joy of living in Narnia and find themselves stuck in another setting. They are waiting to be free of this trap, in this world. That’s why so many of us wanted to hear this because we all feel that trapped feeling now. So glad to see you both sing together. So wonderful.

Certain songs spur a memory and this one always makes me flash back to my oldest daughter's dance recital when she was twelve years old. The group did a beatiful dance to "This is Home". She's now out of state in school and it's kind of tough on the old man during these times. My peace and assurance I am reminded is always in Christ. Thanks for the flasback. This song took my heart strings out of my heart the first few times I saw The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. I love so much how C.S. Lewis painted a picture of heaven so believable through his Narnia books. It is so believable, yet even it does not come close to what Heaven is really like. I praise God for C.S. Lewis and Switchfoot! They both have painted pictures of Heaven so realistic yet still falling short of the unimaginableness of Heaven.

Ya'll guys played BYX (Baylor) many, many, years ago and I have always told people, that was the best concert/show I have ever been to in my life.
