«Ishida’s granddad was killed in battle when a group of giant Hollows attacked him, as the Shinigami arrived too late to save his life. During the rescue of Rukia Kuchiki, Mayuri Kurotsuchi reveals to Uryū that this was his doing: he delayed the Shinigami meant to protect Sōken so that he could study Sōken's soul for his research. According to a photograph Mayuri kept, by the end of his experimentation, very little was left of Sōken's body.» This would be the only decent reason Uryu could have to fight against the Soul Reapers (but certainly not to destroy the 3 Worlds...) and try and exact some type of “revenge”. Even then, that would completely go against what his grandpa believed was right, a man who was himself a Quincy dissenter. In fact, if we are rigorous, Ishida himself never really cared that much about The Quincies as a PEOPLE, a collective or, more important than that, a RACE. He gave no indication up to this point that he did not see himself as a HUMAN above all else and above all other races. On the contrary. He certainly had his "bad blood" with the Soul Society but never with Humanity/Human World. To deem the entire Humanity/Human World (including his father, btw, who chose not to live as a Quincy...) worthy of extinction and oblivion makes little to no sense. And knowing Uryu has read his grandpa's diaries*, he should know that Y.H. was the one (indirectly) behind his mother's death and certainly ONE of the obstacles impeding the harmony between Quincies and the remaining 3 Worlds for all this time (countless world wars, absorbing their powers and sacrificing them time and time again...I mean, Uryu just saw this happen some episodes ago...). Unless he's just buying Y.H.'s bs and very resumed and tilted version of History and not bothering to investigate any further than that, which wouldn't make sense with Uryu being the rational and supposedly intelligent individual that he is...Right? *«(...) At some point, Ishida Sōken REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE NEW PROGRESS OF THE QUINCY POWERS, such as the Vollständig, and held on to the old Letzt Stil [-> again, completely the opposite of what Uryu is doing...]. When he was EXILED BY THEM, Sōken escaped from the Quincy's hidden realm via a portal, taking with him a device used to activate it. (...) Following his exile, Sōken kept a journal with information on the Wandenreich, YHWACH, and THE TRUTH ABOUT THE DEATH OF URYU’S MOTHER.» Also, Uryu really has no idea what the Soul King could or could not have done to save the Quincies (and again, only has Y.H.'s very biased side of the story...), so it makes no sense to blame him and deem him has some sort of "Judas of the Quincy" to be destroyed, either. In fact, up until 5 or 6 episodes ago, he didn’t even know the Soul King was a real and a somehow “living” entity and had anything to do with the Quincies. So... Yeah, definitely the weakest storyline of this new Bleach series and certainly one of the hardest plot points to "sell" to the audience. (Source: Bleach Wiki)
I can tell youre having trouble with the names. Vol Stan Dich: quincy version of a bankai, really all you need to know Sternritter: elite soldier of Yuha, granted a schrift. Schrift: a sternritter's unique ability, granted to them by drinking Yhwach's blood
I get what you mean by the dichotomy between Shunsui and Jushiro - The two battles that Ukitake speaks of represent both him and Shunsui and their demeanour has been hinted at throughout the series and in the flashbacks we get last episode until it culminates in the side by side scenes of Ukitake sacrificing himself while Kyouraku looks to Aizen for survival. Just Aizen being in the episode really overshadowed the subtleties of that plotline but I can't blame anyone for loving him.
@@killomnii streak was broken when he fought Ginjo, Ebern, Quilge, Bambies. Hence max losing streak of Ichigo is still 3 which is Ulquiorra, Gin and Aizen.
not in this show it ain't he does nothing but lose. i never understood why people said he never loses when he probably has more than most other protagonists combined. It will be refreshing if he finally wins. Emphasis on the if.
Uryu is Sauske version 2.0 lol I despised him for hes honor but liked the second mode. I'm waiting for Ichigo to god damn say Bankai Nico know cause I know he read the manga lol. The animation sick and every damn time the music was lit
I dont think they did cause otherwise they would have known about Uryu's Schrifts name. Well actually they did say in cour 1 that Nico dropped the manga just as Yhwach was introduced, hence its all new to them(for manga readers as well though cause 12 mins of episode was Anime only)
ichigo has blind loyalty as well so i guess ichigo is not honorable then. its reasonable for uryu to not defend the side of the people that genocided his people

Uryu never used his schrift vs Ichigo in this battle.
I think he use as he escaped from getsuga jujuso
@@mistake275 Ichigo missed on purpose. He never really tried to kill Ishida in this fight
Now ppl know where Gege gets his inspiration from Torturing there Main Character
It’s refreshing whenever Ichigo loses.
bruh what?😂😂 but yeah you know a series is peak when main character have less plot armor then the villains/antagonists
actin as if ichigo isn’t on a losing streak. he didn’t even “beat” aizan and barely won against uqr
