a question about Carew: am I the only one noticing how much he is growing? I mean, I notice an incredible change in just a few months. From his maturity in speaking to others, from his way of breathing and speaking in general. Cmon guys. It is wonderful to see him grow, to see him grow in Him.
I’m halfway through, something nudged me to click this podcast, I literally just jumped in the air for joy in my kitchen bc of the guy in the middle explaining these “scary” verses. These verses have kept me up at night, scared me so much and caused so much anxiety and depression in my walk with the Lord. Thank you. So much. This gave me so much breakthrough. Please pray for me and my walk the Lord y’all💗💗💗

That part or beginning of the podcast where Braxton was talking was talking about his mental health and career asked “what was the thing that kept you being consistent in the lord even in the dark places and seasons of your life” and from the people on the other screen, hearing that question makes me think about all the bad moments of my life leading up to now. And to answer that question is that for me it was Gods spirit. I use to struggle with a lot of mental issues and trauma, suicidal thoughts and depression and lots of anxiety that I dealt with on my own and in the midst of all of that, I still had God around me. Even when I never realized it, like god and his word has always been present in darkness, his spirit more than anything can change you completely and it’s not about the feeling it’s about him and only him because God delivered me from all of my depression and anxiety (the big parts of that) and that is something I wanted to share is that, it’s the presence of God that can change your whole thinking and it may not happen over night, but it’s still like. That is my testimony, God saved from the depths of my spirit where I was broken and that reminds me of the Matthew 5:3 “blessed are the poor in spirit, for there’s is the kingdom of heaven.”
And that speaks so loud because God encountered me in my spirit and I think that’s why I have such a deep connection with him because of how he saved of changed me.
Anyways that’s all I wanted to share and I thank you Carew Ellington for the impact you’ve made on this podcast and just being vulnerable with the heart God has given you. Praise God for that, that even when we feel like we don’t deserve the love we have from are abba, God looks down on us and sees his child.

Thank you so much to you and your brothers Carew. The last 30 minutes of this podcast was an answered prayer. I’ve been struggling with both intimacy with God, and the fear that I’m not really saved. What your brother said about, the Holy Spirit wouldn’t be in you if you didn’t feel convicted around sin, was something I absolutely needed to hear. I’ve been giving God my “leftovers” lately and reading my Bible last (if at all) in the day right before bed when I’m exhausted. I really want to be disciplined in waking up early and reading before work because when I can get myself to do it, he’s on my mind more constantly throughout the work day and I feel like I make better choices with the Holy Spirit right with me. 🙏🏼

Recently God has given me the opportunity to experience a lot of what y’all talked about in this episode and I’m just so thankful to hear what God is doing in your life and also in mine. GOD IS SO GOOD, the way god moves and endures in peoples lives. Carew your episodes have given me a lot of confidence in the lord and listening to his word and not mine.
Braxton, you’ve just spoken to me about talking to God even when the struggle of depression comes over. Like God is always hear for us and fighting for us.

When dealing with temptation, think, is the Holy Spirit within me that God gifted me really weaker than this temptation? Absolute not! The Spirit can overcome any temptation thrown your way, you must train your spirit by that secret space with Jesus.

Carew, do you even listen to yourself? You said God showed you how you shouldn't be going to random countries if you aren't even loving those at home. Your two brothers are still at home but you packed up and went off to California, which is even 400 miles further away from Kentucky than is Honduras. Now this podcast is with your other two substitute brothers. You resented your two brothers. Don't think they didn't know this. Maybe you should be learning how to fish with them. ✝️
I’m pretty sure he called them brothers because they are literally brothers in Christ. Not as a substitute. We also don’t know how his relationship is with his family, how frequently he talks or sees them. No one who doesn’t know him personally and knows this information is in the position to judge him.
