I adore seeing Nala in the videos, as much as I do Ottie. I would love for Zoe and Alfie to let us know how Nala has changed such having Ottie, and now again with the new baby not long due. I love that Nala loves being around Ottie. Both such sweet girls.

I just love your mum. She reminds me of my mum and when my grandma was alive. They used to come over and help me prep for parties or come Christmas eve and they had great ideas and then they said I inspired them.

I just finished my level 3 in children development and just wanted to say how much of a good job Zoe and Alfie are doing with ottie, they are doing the best things for the transition (reading books about it), encouraging her intellectual development by asking what colour and numbers things are and her movement (using a knife, mixing, painting and pouring). You guys are amazing parents and ottie is lucky to have you ❤
I just wanted to comment(for the first time ever!!) and say how much I’ve appreciated Vlogust. I’m in Australia and this past month of August I’ve been on clinical placement for my nursing studies in a rural hospital 2 hours from home. There were times where I just felt removed from all my comforts but I know I had one of these vlogs to watch each night & that was comforting. I’ve watched since I was 11 in 2013, I would rewatch old vlogmas videos during an intense period of grief not long ago and this month it’s these videos that’s helped me through. Thank you guys for vlogging, for the dedication & for sharing a piece of your lives with us. sending you so much love ♥️♥️
You guys are literally the biggest inspiration on how to be a good parent, I know that may sound like a lot of pressure and obv there’s good and bad moments, but you both have such an amazing way with Ottie. I can’t wait to carry over some of your examples to my future children hopefully in the near future 🥰

When me brother and I were little my mom used to boil potatoes and we breathed the steam from the potato water, just like you did with the bowl! I don't know if it's scientifically proven to work, but we did it anyway 😅
Also, funny how when you showed your garden I saw the pool and thought "the summer is almost over and they didn't even use it!" and you later mentioned it in the vlog! 😂
HOT TIP: do not leave the balloons outside. I had a hannah montana balloon at my summer pool party when I was 7. 14 years later and i will never let my mum forget about how sad that made me. I have baloon trauma now.

Make sure to use Distilled Water when doing steam baths like that ! 27:36 Non-Distilled tends to harbor bacteria and can cause a nasal/chest infection!

Alfie! from yesterdays last vlog you mentioned you have a mouth full of ulcers, please get checked for Coeliac disease if you haven’t already. My brother has it and his main symptom is mouth ulcer! It’s sooo commonly missed but so important for you to ask your doctor for the blood test if you can. Loving the vlogs, will be so sad when they’re over ❤️

27:13 my mom called that "vao'" and it's soooo good when you're super congested. I usually use a towel to do it and you can put some chamomile and/or VapoRub/eucalyptus on the hot water :)

I just scanned the other comments and I think no one has mentioned it so far: please try Sloes again, after the temperatures dropped below 0 degrees. This sets of a chemical process, which makes the sloes sweet. They way they are currently, you can pickle them for a year and eat them like olives. Happy Sloe foraging (i only do so after the first freeze of the year)
