i'm neutral towards them, but maybe is that advertising themselves as a "only women dance crew" like that's the thing that will make them special. it's like Super Cr3w being loud and proud of being an all-male dance crew
@@darkhseid they’re the only all girl crew to win tho. It’s pretty great advertisement, same with Super Cr3w, they were composed of some of the best b-boy dancers in America. I think people got too hung up on having to support either Beat Freaks or WAH when neither crew are similar in any way, besides them inspiring WAH, which isn’t a bad thing at all. Beat Freaks were more on the breaking side of hip hop while WAH did more of a fusion of waacking, popping and tutting side of hip hop, and both incorporate locking as well. I mean, girl crews never got far nor the respect of their male counterparts as often as they should’ve
