would've bought some ixalan stuff if they didn't do this and also didnt make JP cards 1 in 12 in set boosters lmao. I opened a Gift Bundle and the JP card in my collector pack was a land. Made me not care to buy more Ixalan
I bought some boxes and i avoided the lands i got only JP cards i know i was lucky but yes bad decision of Wizards

the 2nd basic land is in the Jurassic part slot so you lose a Jurassic card if you get a Jurassic land. i love that roaming throne had people scoop when it showed up and attacked with my master multiplied and Myriad triggered twice

Dude, you don't even suspect how surprised i was to see you pull 2 cavern of souls from single pack because.... I did exacly the same thing week ago when i was opening 2 boxes of this set (i still have 1 unopened box waiting to be opened or sold (most likely i'll open it since i'd regret selling it anyway) and from box 1 i pulled foil mana crypt in a 1 pack, and in 2nd pack i've pulled Caverns first in foil (normal version, 1st rare slot in the pack) and the version you pulled twice in same pack , exacly like you did so i find it funny that so rare pull ended up similiar to your opening. My 1st box had 3 great pulls that i've mentioned (crypt & 2x caverns) but 2nd full box had only the foil relic box topper of new card (only one new card in box toppers from entire collection) which was 35euro at time of opening (for nonfoil) and 130euro for foil which i didn't expect to hold such premium value. My 3 purchased collectors boxes were bought from Amazon (preordered) for undisclosed amount of money (it's a good topic for an entire video but i'd rather pass the details to Rudy himself to verify it first before publishing it) that was "unusual" so to speak... I don't expect Rudy to read comments and responding to commenters but in case you read it "boss" then feel free to reply here and i'll contact you with the details so i'll currently hold still for an approval if you're interested (IMO the topic is great and worth publishing since it's fresh case and you seem to lack "amazon dumps" cases so i could help you out with a solid one)..
Anyway, Lost Caverns of Ixalan is a great set in terms of chances for great double hits of duplicated card, every time i got duplicate in every other sets the value was very disappointing and dud cards were only ones that repeated in single pack. Personally i have best ever time for getting 3x collectors boxes not only because of pulls from 2 first boxes (and propably more value in my last box) but more important because of my cost to aquire the full ordered amount which i seriously doubt that i'll be able to buy any more boxes for that price.

Ps. In case somebody would want to buy one of my caverns then there's no need to ask me because i've sold normal version in foil already so i'm sitting on the 2nd one for personal collection only, so the only card i'm planning to move is Mana Crypt (foil from this set) only because i also pulled ... 2nd Mana Crypt but from opening mystery boosters box so it turned out that 2 different orders (one from Amazon, 2nd from secretlair with mox box and loose boosters plus box of mystery boosters) contained a Mana Crypt inside, which is also very hard pull from mystery boosters but i find the nonfoil normal card from this set better to hold for my own useage, mostly because of value difference since the nonfoil goes for around 150-160$ while foil from newest set was 210$ at time of pulling it but after few days i've rechecked it to find it even more expensive, around the 235$+ cost then but i think it might have fallen a bit since then (week ago). Mana Crypt, no matter which version is very expensive so i'm not hoping for selling it via YT contact especially because the risk for chargeback fraud would be too high for me, and the buyer would also be risking money then so it's best to trade via cardmarker or cardkingdom anyway (i'm Polish so tcgplayer is not suitable for my trades).
Look you know a card is broken when Rudy can tell that it's broken. Roaming throne has been stable around $20 since release. This card is a new commander staple! I have no doubt it holds value even after it's reprinted in the Skibidi Toilet Secret lair drop.
Nice double caverns pack! best doubles collector pack i ever opened was a textured foil Shelly and a Phyrexian Shelly in Dominaria united. was pretty sweet!
back in core set when baneslayer angel came out i pulled a foil and non foil in the same pack
Did you know that MTG North popped one of the special foils. There are symbols and words in place of the swoops of the new foiling style.
I was amazed when I bought a bundle and found Mana crypt😱 I think it was the cheapest version in the set (0017) but still a very pricey card from a bundle.

I got a Cavern of Souls in a set booster. TCG says it's worth $23 today.
I've opened two cases and only opened 3 caverns. Not common.
I did open 3 different Mana Crypts...
this proves also that Nazgul is much rarer than a Cavern of Souls. . . just my two cents though

I just drafted this set blind. It's fun to do a draft when you have no idea what the cards are, but it's probably recommended to do a sealed event first. There should be a Collector Box Sealed format where each player gets half a Collector Booster Display as their sealed pool. This would be pretty expensive, but very shiny!

You know the product is good when Rudy pulls a Hunting Velociraptor worth $40 and doesn’t blink an eye. Also the full art Jurassic park lands are $2-$3 a piece, and foils are $4-$7. Also the Jurassic park cards range from $5-$15 on avg, with a few peaking past $20. A fantastic product overall.

The basic Caverns printings in this set have fallen to below $30 USD. The fancy yellowed one in this set is $500. The average price for other printings is about $35 though certain sets or promos see higher prices. Like the Lord of the Rings Surge Foil is $60.
Yeah two Caverns in a pack back in the day woulda been a God pack people freaked out about on the internet. Now it's like "yay, now the last two of my ## EDH decks can have the card in them" followed by a shrug.

The basic lands are double sided on the jurassic park lands. And there are often 2 per pack because $25 per pack. The regular packs barely get them.
